Very dissappointing that GoPro Quik will show live feed but only if you are shooting photographs. Switching to video and soon as you hit record it goes BLACK. Waste of money for this camera because of that. Too expensive to buy the transmitter and having your desktop clutter that blocks what you're trying to record. Thanks for the video.
I simply bought AKASO V50X to get the function. There's another way in my early video, too complicated and cost more. The real problem is GoPro won't face this issue 😱😱😱
I am sorry, but this is no Solution. Nice Video, nice Exploration, but I will send back my go pro 11 Black because it is not Sending the Video output. Thats a waste
Very creative. This is not a Solution, it is what we in the technology world call a "Work Around". GoPro has really FAILED with this App and the camera. Additionally this feature does work on camera's before GoPro 9. It is a massive fail for current Hero models. Additionally, the Quick App does not work on Windows PC's. As stated earlier "Very Disappointing". WARNING!!! Think twice before buying any new GoPro camera's.
Why doesn't it work for me to send the video signal from the GoPro to the phone with a USB capture device, HDMI to USB cable and USB to USB C adapter? Also activating the OTG function on the mobile
I am using AKASO, it works. I had insta G2, it works too. I believe, only GoPro has this problem, it is not a technical issue. It because some patent issue. But GoPro doesn't care.
Yes, it works. Just keep in mind, distance between camera and iphone should not more than 6 ft If it over 6 ft, you may need a WiFi booster. The phone is connected to GrPro with APP (Quick ). It allows you control GoPro. But when you start recording, the APP will not show recording image even you still can control GoPro. While setup here is adding a Wi-Fi connection to monitor while you recording. Sadly GoPro have not interesting to solve this problem till now end of May 2023!
Thank you for your kind effort ….but is more expensive….more gadgets to carry..::GoPro looking like a hardware shop on your helmet ….plus the money we paid for GoPro is enough. Totally agree your point. Even GoPro USB-C is not real USB! I didn't try USB to HDMI adapter, but won't work. I have to buy Media Mod to get HDMI signal.
@Tora Tora You are right there too ....!!! next gopro 11 will only film in black and white - no colour - and also we will say "" ohh I bought the gopro 11 thinking it filmed in colour because your other gopro 4-5-6--7-8- ect did film in colour - NO BODY TOLD ME THAT COULD ONLY FILM IN BLACK AND WHITE ...!!!...maybe will film in colour in version 12 ...!!! I don’t trust gopro anymore , ill wait for the competition - DJI and others - with gopro products ill wait for reviews that are 1 year old at least before considering buying any more from them. Gopro has became untrustworthy.
Yes, you are right. I was thinking about getting other brands, DJI action 2 has the function but camera can’t do much without attachment. iPhone can’t transfer large video files to my PC. GoPro is still the best. Because GoPro is not going to fix the problem and I like The product. That’s why I have to DIY to make it work for me.
