This loco is a kit from Houstoun Gate Locomotive Works. It´s made of MDF and lasercut. The parts fit perfectly and the kit was easily built in some evenings. As the MDF material is not mosture proof a primer and some layers of paint is important for outdoor use. But I never run this engine in rain or snow.
The loco is RC equipped and the motor is run by two 18650NiMh batteries. Operating duration is by far longer than my endurance!
