When I was in grade school back in the late 1950s and early 60s, we attended a very rural/country school where the farm wives all around the school came in on their designated days and did all the cooking. My love of really good, yet utterly simple food began right there, with my first school lunch in the first grade. The best ever mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, real fish caught, cleaned and deboned by the husbands and sons of the women, then brought in to the school for them to cook---no heavy coatings of anything, just lightly seasoned trout, whitefish or bass, depending where the men went fishing that day. The vegetables always came from the farms the women lived on, brought in by them and their husbands the same day they were to be eaten. Baked goods---oh, boy, nothing I've ever had, or made myself since, can beat what those women knew how to do! Leftovers were given to the families with children whose parents were financially challenged, so there was never any wasted food. If any child or family of children couldn't pay for lunches, they got the same lunch everyone else did, but for free, and were not shamed or made fun of; it plain and simply was not tolerated in any form at all. It's really sad that the school systems have become so horridly shoddy in the last 60 years, and enormous amounts of money is spent on sports programs and other unnecessary "extracurricular activities" while so many children are in serious want of a decent meal at least once a day, and teachers are terribly underpaid.

I can also cut an union like that😆 im schooling for the horeca grade 1 horeca and im 18 years and i think a can cook very well i can make veggies in cream sauce I need union garlic veggies And rice of pasta And chicken or minced beef And cook cream and creme fracë First i cut the unnion garlic and veggies Do it in seperated bowls and turn on the heat and bake my meat or chicken in olive oil than ill put in the hard veggies like yellow parika green and red ill bake them short than i put the courgette into it than as last the union and garlic ill let them bake for short than ill put the cooks cream in and creme fraice and i seas it wit salt pepper cumin paprika pouder and provencial herbs and than ill cook rice and its very delicous it was my first dish i made out of my head with no recipe just out of mind and i did very well😁😁 i love watch this i can learn to make thosr things you the best

When gordon washes his car... Get a bucket , Nice . Water in , make sure its nice and wet water otherwise your car will come out dry , Washing soap in , amazing . A touch of olive oil in so it comes out shiny, lovely . Salt and pepper in , perfect .
