Yes, every since EGGS have sky rocketed...my family & I think of eggs as very special, indeed. We are very careful not to DROP one ($0.50-0.75 each). They appear to be precious like GOLD! Haters, no longer can afford to throw eggs at unsuspecting targets, NO MORE "egging" people's cars & front porches with them on Halloween. Just too expensive to do so! Additionally, utilizing TOILET PAPER to "teepee" neighbor's trees, shrubs, etc. is a thing of the past! 😀 JUST TOO EXPENSIVE FOE THESE type of JOKES & PRACKS!
Honest mistake. He was comparing to lemons but saying lime the dozen of other times in that explanation and referring to both and just misspoke. Even the pro tip that popped up said "Richard, it's a lime, not a lemon!"
No flour tortilla is found in a traditional dish of Huevos Rancheros. We use corn torillas and have been for many "centuries." Also, use serrano peppers. Jalapeños are fine but serranos are the way to go.
Respect, Chef Ramsay, but if you want real huevos rancheros, come to New Mexico, USA: Red chile from Hatch, NM; corn tortillas; eggs; pinto beans; cheddar cheese; papas (browned/sautéed potato). This is an interesting version I've never seen before or could have even imagined. Chef Blais, that burrito rolling...eesh...you could also use a trip to New Mexico, haha.
Hatch chilis are the best. The smell of them roasting during harvest season is to die for.That big 55 gal. drum roaster at the roadside stand is awesome. I'm in Richfield. We love them here

It’s amazing how many recipes/ways Gordon knows how to cook things. I know how to cook I wish he could have taught me growing up or even now learn from him.
Being Latino Gordon's recipe is as Brit's would say is posh. Juevos ranchero is tortilla w refried beans then topped with 2 sunny up eggs and topped w hatch green chili sauce. I mean it looks good but thats not what i grew up with and would send it back

Gordon I burnt my fingers too when I was cooking for my pregnant wife. Went to emergency waited there for two hours for getting bandages. Can you send me a set of pans too
I really like the program to the next level, because it provides information on how to cook with ordinary ingredients but an innovative menu, I thought so far in Europe breakfast was just various breads or sandwiches and didn't like spicy, but it turns out there are also those who use slightly spicy burritos. i really like spicy.
It's great to see the chefs in action, the freshness just pops in the conversations and dishes!!! Wow, the visuals are great and of course the flavors!!!
