I’ve tried a few recipes by GR and they’ve been really delicious, I tried this one yesterday with hesitation as I’m unfamiliar with tarragon....as an accomplished home cook, I was stunned at how delicious this was! I’d highly recommend this.....don’t wait for Christmas!
@@trav3ll3r It turned out so much better than I was expecting (only as I’d never used tarragon before) that my partner insisted I cook it again the following week, only with 3 times the amount of chick peas. This works as we are keeping the crabs down so the chick peas are in place of roast potatoes. We used a enamel roaster with a lid, keeping the juices in....turned out about as good! Thank you, these recipes were great and this is the only stuffing I've had and actually liked, I'm not a fan of North-American style breaded stuffing but this was great with the chickpeas and very flavourful. The cake was really good too although my technique was not even close..my meringue's turned out like thin wafers LOL but the taste was great and I added diced strawberries in the chocolate cream. For the bird I mixed things up and ended up mashing this and Jamie Oliver's recipe together but it turned out fantastic. Will definitely make it again and again, it's a keeper!

Hi gorden I loved your chickpea and chicken recipe it looks lovely for a great night. With family or friends. I'm actually trying the recipe now. My only concern is how long I cook it and should I cover while cooking. I don't think I'm gonna cover unless I get feedback

Lovely Roast! Can’t wait to try this weekend!!! Done with all herbs not Tarragon yet! Chickpeas mix was great; not sure to do with the roast! 🤔. Instead potato cubes with green peas roast inside chicken cavity mix with herbs & garlic! Chef’s kids are well brought up!!

That’s only ur food in ur table 1 whole chicken and salad en u are so many people can eat..! Hehehe in my country every Christmas we have whole bbq sheep en spaghetti fruits salad chicken like we having fiesta at home every Christmas!!! Hahaha
