Through all the other know-it-all chefs with ego issues he'd dealt with, she was such a breath of fresh air. She deserves whatever success she achieves.

That’s what a lot of the uk version is. There are some where he was at Michelin star restaurants that lost their way.

She unfortunately had to get rid of the restaurant. But she still cooks and has a youtube channel. It's Momma Cherri. Edit; and apparently she opened a new restaurant. I just found out.

​@lewiscastor1925 they were open for years actually, and Mama even opened a bigger restaurant afterwards. She thrived and eventually closed from what I remember. Regardless Gordon loved her food

With marks like that from him, I'd like to think she got the offer to be a chef at a nearby restaurant.

I think right after this she tried opening another restaurant nearby. But that didn't go well either. Later she wrote cook books and created her own RU-vid channel named "Momma Cherri" where she uploads to this day. There is definitely more about her, but this is all I remember from the back of my head. :)

It looks like the restaurant failed years ago, but she runs a catering company that appears to still be in business as of 2023.

Location was awful. Brighton was not the place.

@@toffeelatte6042 honestly it was in the wrong place in Brighton, it wasn’t anywhere near the seafront or near the Lanes which get the most foot traffic, so unless you knew it, you wouldn’t go out of your way
