Gordon Smith Guitars hail from the UK and have been around since the 70s. They're producing some very high quality guitars, two examples of which I'm lucky enough to be able to show you today, thanks to my friend, Rob Clarke, from their Australian distributor.

I remember first reading about Gordon Smith guitars way back in the mid 80s, in a book called 'The Complete Guitar Guide'. Never imagined they would be available in Australia. They have a solid reputation, and those two certainly look and sound really good.

Good call. Gordon Smith are amazing guitars and have really come up a notch since Auden bought them. The brass nut has always been a feature since the early days.

Am a faithful user of Stringjoy strings. 😎👍👍 The light blue package are the ORBITS whichare are Stringjoys coated electric guitar strings. They sound and feel great. The dark blue SIGNATURE balanced nickel wound are my favorites 😎👍👍 Hope you dig em Mr. Kingman. Short breakin and last a long time and feel great😉👍👍

Those guitars sounded great. Nicely done Brett. Really like that Blue finish on that Griffin. Kind of a Matte, Metallic paint type look like on a Car

Was looking for a Tele a couple of years ago and was so disappointed by the quality of Fender so went to Gordon Smith and had a custom made Tele constructed. Over the moon with the quality, sound and feel...... highly recommended!

Partington is a suburb of Manchester where Gordon Smith had the original factory.

Okay. So, I never heard of Gordon Smith guitars, but as soon as I heard that Grande, I immediately went to Reverb to see what's what. Then you tell me it's prototype and I can breathe easy for the moment!! Whew!! Haha! (I really shouldn't buy another guitar right now!!) I swear, it made that big of an impression immediately. Beautiful guitar. I can tell you that you were having a lot of fun playing it too. Sounds incredible.

Partintone I guess references the town the original near Manchester UK where the original Gordon Smith factory was located. I have had a number of their guitars and was lucky enough to meet John and visit the factory.

Hey man, been a fan for many years bro, would love it if you could take the time to read this one, I’m a 21 year old from Queensland Australia, I’ve been battling an ongoing eye condition stemming from a skin disease I got when I was 8, it had left me in a coma for some time and it’s left me going blind, as of November last year that’s when my eyes got worse, i ended up homeless for some time there, at an attempt to get big enough to maybe go overseas and get my eyes treated by a world class specialist I’ve started a RU-vid and TikTok channel teaching guitar I know you have a huge audience and would appreciate it to the moon if you could help us out, if not even just some advice to help me improve I’d appreciate it so much man and keep it up!
