of course, thank you! had that overhead shot in there, but the layers were backwards and I didn't realize it... guess I should watch my videos again before uploading ;-) glad I didn't delete it from the software lol
Merci beaucoup! J'etudie en francias... I could read your message without translating! I have a long way to go though. But thanks again, I really appreciate that! 💕
I sew want to make this dress Sarah! You are amazing the way you keep going making these beautiful heirlooms while wearing an infant! Hats off to you lady!
As my grandma would say" you did good girl". She taught me to sew and hated to waist fabric or thread. She always told me to buy the best you can afford but don't waist it. Use it! I love the old fashioned baby patterns. Used them for my grandchildren and for the great grandchildren. Thirty embroidery is usually simple but beautiful. The simplest stitch when done right is beautiful. You are doing a great job of teaching and showing how beautiful a nice dress can be, even if it takes one day. Your babies are growing and are so sweet. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and life with us.
I'm glad to see the overhead view of what you are talking about! Great job! You are sooooo talented to take a pattern and make these amazing changes!! Thanks for listening to us!!!
of course! thank you for letting me know... I had that overhead shot in there, but the layers were backwards and I didn't realize it... guess I should watch my videos again before uploading ;-)
@@sarahclassicsewing You go girl !! You are amazing as to what you accomplish in one day!!! Kudos to you (and to your husband for supporting you!!) !!!!
hey there, you can slow down any video with the little gear icon (change the playback speed to something less than 1.0), but also, I have a sew along series for this garment that goes at a slower pace.... hope that helps :-) ru-vid.com/group/PL_UbtY5bDJ3lqVQNCKGnwc3Yobq4IvUWF
the frixion pens (amzn.to/37rOmo9). and i just used lace from my late aunts stash, but the pattern tells you about the quantities on the back cover - there's a photo here bit.ly/2G4enPm. hope that helps :-)
If I’m following your layout right, you laid this - selvage to selvage (crossgrain) - instead of straight up and down (straight of grain)? But the sleeve looked like you placed it on straight of grain.
