The middle part of the lyrics (1:32 - 2:52) is their own English translation of "Zarathustra's roundelay" by Nietzsche which is a central motif in his book "Thus Spoke Zarathustra": O Mensch! Gib acht! Was spricht die tiefe Mitternacht? Doch alle Lust will Ewigkeit-, -will tiefe, tiefe Ewigkeit!« So the correct lyrics of this part would be something like that: Humans, listen! What does deep night tell? I slept my sleep, Awaking dreamer's end. Deep is this world, Deeper than the day could ever tell. Deep is its woe, Lust - deeper than pain and sorrow. 'Woe!' tells pain, Lust wants eternity, Wants deep, deep eternity...
Uno de los mejores temas que Gorgoroth jamás haya sacado. Este tipo de sonido influenciaria a las bandas posteriores y es muy importantes para las bandas de black metal de hoy en día
Yes, finally!!!!...I have been searching for this song for awhile now. I had this album on cd years ago and it got lost somehow. Such a truly dark and epic masterpiece, and that final breakfown, omS, it gives me evil visions. I'm really curious why this isn't on their channel on here.
my fave Gorgoroth songs as well,it has a creepy almost Tool-like vibe, very melodic too,all the black metal haters don't realize how much classical melody and style are in the black metal scene
You wire man This night is coming to end And a whisper A long time in stones Guarded in the rocks Humans listen What does is not tell I see, and I see A rapers dreamers and... He is this world Deeper than the day could ever change Deep in this World Lust Deeper then pain and sorrow Molten pain Love was eternity But sea, deep eternity Like the highest power As this growing fire Inspires me As the fire Inspires me Run for the soil The acropolis The horizon See me rising See me fall
Gaahl (Christian) may have sang for a Satanic Black Metal Band but is not a Satanist himself. He is a Norse Pagan Shaman practicing the faith of a pre-viking pre-Asier/Vanir Scandinavia focusing heavily on Rune/Galder majic
This is one of my most favourite Gorgoroth tunes. I feel that Gaahl, for the first time in his Gorgoroth days, really hits the mark and comes into his own vocal style. Listen to the first line... The bass guitar sounds as wicked as the rythmn guitars. I also love the outro. This song is one for people who know.
Still one of my favourite Gorgoroth songs regardless of the split (two good bands is better than one). This really is good, bleak, deep music for the soul. Hail Gorgoroth and Hail God Seed.
ahh.. back in the day when it was cool to listen to Black Metal ^^ remember some kids at my school wanted to be like these bands, and they burned crosses, and talked about burning churches and stuff like that xD awesome song, still one of my favorite songs from the black metal scene.
Benefits of being a metalhead to the heart and soul: 1. Narrow minded metal haters fear you 2. Only a few people understands you 3. People think you're wise 4. You'll feel powerful 5. You don't give a fvck what they say about you Go add more yourself
i already did.,.i think that documentary is not that good...its mainly only focuses on the aesthetics of black metal...not the music itself..which is kinda strange
+Berly Tannyono Putra I watched the one from Vice and while I found it really cool to get into the mindset and see where Gaahl lives and such, the guys from vice were complete bitches and they showed in the beginning that Newcastle was in Scotland. My favorite one is the documentary where they cover the whole spectrum from thrash to heavy to black to death
Yeah. We "the Black Folk" have already viewed all the documents, interviews etc. about the Black Metal scene. Great documentaries, honestly! Taste of an opinion, tho. But I like them and watching documentaries, I like - do also Improve my English a little. Every time I learn something more. Satan.
Excellent in mute to taste good Chinese dishes in a comfortable and deliciously decorated restaurant ! To listen in moderation of course, and respecting the usage distanciations..
Both The Gaahl/King and Infernus fronted versions of gorgoroth plan to release a new album. Infernus is bringing Pest back and i cant wait. And Gaahl and King plan to use Frost again which is pretty kickass too
I thought Infernus said Gaahl and King kicked him out via text message and then tried to keep the name - which Infernus still contests. Frost isn't involved at the moment but Nick Barker is (again) to be the current touring drummer. But yeah, despite all the semantics the drummers are all fucking brilliant.
i want to say that you're right, But i also want to look at the lyrics to confirm it. too bad they dont allow publishing of their lyrics on the interweb =(
@iwalkbefordeath Nice comment!! Once you look into it then it's all very apparent, even obvious! It's just that most of the general public have neither the insight or the will to look!! Pathetic how far man has fallen isn't it!
