This is the best salesmen/inspection ladder without a doubt. It fits in my full-size regular 6’6 bed with my tonneau cover and tailgate closed. It is really 23 feet but reaches 99+% of residential roofs. The only cons are it’s weight and the amount of flex when fully extended. I am 6’3 230 lbs and it is very difficult (but doable) to lift this ladder when fully extended.
I'm 6'2" and weigh 340 lbs. Will I feel wobbly up there? Also, I need to look up this ladder's collapsed length, to know whether it will fit inside the back of a Subaru Outback, lol.
I got the 23 ft version rated for 375lbs. I got up halfway and I didn’t feel safe at all. I’m 6’3 and 300 lbs and it was wobbly and flexing so much I thought it was going to snap. Is this normal for it to flex and wobble so much at the full extension?
Agreed, he commented on some other guy's video saying he would do a tutorial a while back. I have a little Giant M26 and haven't figured out how one person can maneuver it to full height by themselves. It just becomes really awkward. I think you need a second person. I can extend it laying flat but then... It's tough getting it up.
@@borisprotich9453 it's possible but you need to be very tall over 250 lbs and have some luck to be able to raise it at max extension...a regular extension.ladder is much more rigid and stable for 20ft and higher.
Thanks for the video. I'm trying to reach my gutters to repair them. They're around 19 feet off the ground. This ladder can replace 2 ladders that I have.
I'm in between purchasing this 26 Ft Gorilla GLMPX-26W-2 and the 26 Ft Little Giant Epic ladder. Any thoughts/advice? My roof is just about 22 Ft and although I've been told its always best to have the extra length, I'm tempted to get a 22 Ft model as its lighter and less expensive. Would be great to see different brand 26 Ft ladder model comparison video as like your shingles video. Learned alot!
