Nice review, love all the details you mentioned. Also, you are correct about that flat piece if aluminum behind one of the stairs on each side. I painted that piece red so that it's more noticable because I pinched my finger pretty good twice on it. I learned my lesson, however, my kids also use this ladder & I would hate to the ssme thing happen to them.
I own a little giant and it's rated 1A not 1AA, weights a lot more than the gorilla ladder. If I've would of seen the gorilla ladder before I purchased the little giant, I would have buy the MPX22 instead of the little giant.
The 375 lbs is the maximum weight you should put on the ladder. As far as wrungs, one should never have their foot higher than the 2nd wrung from the top of the ladder. Better; is to use nothing higher than the 3rd wrung from the top of the ladder. However 375 per 300 (most other ladders) means that this Gorilla ladder is built stronger. That is very important.
