@@milkamoussse - Abuse 2D - Made Paula cheat on 2D with Murdoc - Undresses himself in front of the audience and the band behind him - May had gassed 2D to Plastic Beach - Probably doesn’t pay 2D or any of his band members
@@milkamoussse burnt down Kong studio with a bunch of people inside it just for the insurance money set up the whole el manana mv and putting noodle in danger just to kill wee jimmy Manson is the reason why 2d's eyes are fucked up
This is so hypnotic and somehow necessary to my mental health. Along with O Green World and a bunch of other Gorillaz songs. Gorillaz speak to me in a way that not even other songs I've loved forever do. Gorillaz are the voice of this time and the past 20 years.
This song feels like me attempting to form any platonic or romantic relationship. I am only good for providing a revenue steam for a large company. I should just learn to focus on that, it’s the only thing I know how to do. I’m just a number on a balance sheet, not a person anyone wants to be around for their own good otherwise without money being involved.
[Verse 1: 2D] I lost my land like I lost my way So no loose ends Nothing to see me down How are we going to work this out? [Verse 2: 2D] Dreams are bad, our heads are mad I love the girl But God only knows it's Getting hard to see the sun coming through I love you... But what are we going to do? [Verse 3: 2D] Picture I'm a dreamer I'll take you deeper Down to the sleepy glow Time is a low Don't you know? What are we going to do? When we go down For all the sacred selfless days Only left with heartache I want to see you again I love you... But what are we going to do? [Piano Outro: Ike Turner]
The fact that they were able to take a violin, an electric guitar, a piano, a synth keyboard, and a Chinese instrument. Wrap them all into one song and still make it work is honestly the most hardcore thing gorillaz has ever done
like, EVERY song in Demon Days is POGGERS, except like, white light and monkey with its head on fire or whatever. I’ve only heard those two one time, so I can’t really say if they’re that bad, but just saying THIS song is awesome, and fuck anyone who disagrees
Cyborg Noodle Personally, I like those songs. Fire coming out and Don’t Get Lost tell a story, and it’s *better than any cable show I’ve seen in a while.* White light is a pretty simple song, and good for what it is.
Just saw Gorillaz live in Birmingham live yesterday, and I couldn't believe it when they played this song, it's got to be one of my favorites. It was an absolutely incredible night!
lost my leg like I lost my way So no loose ends Nothing to see me down How are we going to work this out?Dreams aren't bad, I had turned back I love the girl But God only knows it's Getting hard to see the sun coming through I love you... But what are we going to do?Picture I'm a dreamer I'll take you deeper Down to the sleepy glow Time is a low.. Don't you know? What are we going to do?When you go back All the second selfless days You're in love with him I want to see you again I love you... But what are we going to do?
The fact that this is one of the very few Gorillaz songs that outright says "I Love You" makes this even more special and depressing. Many people consider El Manana the saddest song on Demon Days; but to me, Every Planet We Reach Is Dead will always be the darkest and most heartbreaking song on Demon Days.
for me this is the best album if ever listen to just amazing all the lyrics of almost all the songs of gorillaz are just amazing. #BestBandEver #GorillazPower
All I know is whether or not this is true with regards to the song it’s true IRL and a lot of people have written songs about this. Sort of the Yoko-effect, the manic pixie dream girl who drives you to the edge and beyond but you still crave like the cravings on your first day cold Turkey where you feel everything and want none of it
this guitar riff always gets stuck in my head. i love this song to pieces, really reminds me of the stuff my dad used to play when i was i tiny that would make me run around the house out of excitement.
Demon Days was their best album in my opinion. All of the songs felt like they has emotion in them. (Not to mention the fucking amazing bass line in feel good inc.) But lets not shit on Humanz too much. Gorillaz is known to be an ever changing group. So they changed a bit. Big whoop. Support them or dont. But have opinions. Its okay. I like Demon Days best. Someone might like Plastic Beach more. But lets not go being douches bc Humanz was a bit different. Thank you good day
I still love to think that to this day, someone right when you see this comment, is looking through Gorillaz for their first time, ordering their first record or cd by them. Honestly, it makes me happy!
I was a bit of a fan a while ago, mostly interested in the lore, but still. About a week ago, I started getting really into the music as well, and Holy shit i've missed so much
These songs make me want to sleep Not because their boring, nope not at all I love them. They just make me want to dream of a world where this band isn't made of fictional characters and I don't feel like an idiot for swooning over 2D when he doesn't even /exist/
The more I listen to this record the more I'm convinced it's one of the greatest of the century. A cohesive masterpiece sonically, lyrically, and thematically. Truly greater than the sun of it's parts.
Skull Kidding Actually this song was writed by Damon Albarn, but you are right. According to the history of the virtual band, Noodle was death (or thats what the others thought) so this song its a tribute to Noodle after her dead.
The fact the song is calming and depressing is sad for the depression 2d has but he always has his calm voice to save himself and us #gorillazisthebestbandever

Kassa No. The title is like "Every Planet we Reach" but the title of the song is "Every Planet we Reach is Dead" so I was complaining about the lack of "Is Dead" in the title
This whole album is a MASTERPIECE, listen to it front to back then back to front and its always great. Those of you who haven't heard the whole story I highly suggest you do so.
I lost my leg like I lost my way So no loose ends Nothing to see me down How are we going to work this out? Same here. I was 12 in 2005 when I bought Demon Days. But I didn't understand back then how good it actually was. The older I grow the better it is, still to this day.
The first few times I heard this song I thought it was boring because the final part was just instrumental and I wanted more 2D vocals, but after I listened to this song more times it became one of my favorites and now I love that instrumental part at the end, that "scream" and the closing part of the song are very good
this song is high key greatness! Man brings back so many memories, I was such a weird introverted teenager...well im a weird introverted adult now...not much has changed I guess not even my taste in music. I love the Gorillaz!
