Here's our new ad promoting the Gorillaz 'Plastic Beach' tour at The O2 and venues nationwide. If you're on O2 you can get Priority Tickets from 9am Wednesday 19 May at www.o2priority.co.uk/gorillaz.
This video makes me sad actually, how the band just fell apart during f4, how Noodle was missing, Russ was stuck in the ocean as a giant, and poor poor 2D having to be held hostage being forced to sing and living in a room underwater with a whale always looking through the tiny window even though 2D is terrified of whales. Oh and Murdoc was probably dead inside since he was being chased by "the boogieman" and 2D no longer wanted to play in the band, aaaaand he had to build a fake Noodle (cyborg Noodle) just so he can have a good guitarist like the real Noods.
that moment when the realization that they aren't just Murdoc, 2D, noodle and Russell, but an actual band with a lot more members hits you harder than a train
@Reina Valdes Wow 1.87 for 2D? I thought he was tall with all the "zombie" look, but I expected 1.80 or so. He's almost 1.90 and still abused by the timed out pickle, I- 😭
Welll it is true this coment is from the future or shall i say “the Futua”credits to Murdoc for that one anyway in phase seven it is confirmed that 2D is 6’2 Russel is 5’9 Murdoc is 5’7 and Noodle is 5’2
Jojoman No, here's the story: When Murdoc was about to -kidnap- get the integrants, he couldn't find Russel (also Noodle, but he made Cyborg Noodle). So he decided to replace him with beatboxes and all of that. When Russel heard all these things, he angry goes swimming to Plastic Beach. Due to he consuming sea trash, he became a giant. After, he found the real Noodle and for the end of Rhinestone Eyes, he gets in Plastic Beach. Nothing is known after that except a image in Plastic Beach vinyl. Well, yes, he can enter that hall.
Murdoc looks so damn _pumped_ he's so excited to play for them and 2D is just happy to be here aw noodle looks so ready and then they get stopped and 2D looks so _sad_ and murdoc just wants to play for the peopleee iiiMMMMMM
This was made 7 years ago, don't know why I'm commenting on it. But at first I found this really funny because it was the actual group facing off their characters. But then I realized it's pretty dark. :p
@@yourhackedfuckoff7338 Sorry for the late reply, but it's dark as hell since Damon and his 'tribute band' are Boogieman's workers as shown in Rhinestone Eyes. So Murdoc's worst enemies are playing instead of him.
I wouldn't day dark. Maybe a bit sad though because Murdoc is kinda miserable. Apparently part of his deal with the Boogieman was that he couldn't preform that album live.
And fictional but the fictional ones are always the best because there not real. All though we like to think it in our heads. And woah how ironic me talking about how something not being really real but if feels so real. Okay I said alot more then I planed to so don't mind me.
Its either because of his trips to hell or hes a carcass Some people say hes just a rotting carcass, but some people also say hes greener every phase because of the trips to hell he takes in between them. People can turn green if they're exposed to too much sulfur, and hell has a lot of sulfur in it.
I feel a slight sadness when he says it's my band. also, it's weird how the real ppl are the imposters *I understand the storyline* XD also wth is with the guy and the wrench
I felt so bad when Murdoc said “it’s my band” he actually sounded kinda disappointed it hurt lmao ok way too emotional 2D in the background was the cutest thing on earth just sayin 😂😂 And cyborgs smirk I loved it
@@almasanchez1496 It's really strange to think that this dark soul-less satanist wrote "On Melancholly Hill". Maybe there's something shiny on the core of that green body? Nah, I don't think so *But maybe...*
I remember seeing this long ago on TV and thought it was a PSA for not letting bad people into concerts or remembering to book up your tickets or else you can't come in XD or something like that really. ^^'
This was the beginning of the end.. This was the start of Damon inserting himself into Gorillaz lore despite repeatedly claiming that being the frontman was not what Gorillaz was about.
@@freakfoxvevo7915 ahh, my bad. I meant to read that, but gave up on Gorillaz before I could. I guess it started a little bit before Plastic Beach. Would you happen to know the interview that Damon did where he went on about how he disliked the idea of deluxe albums? He then went on about how he disliked capitalism afterward. Even if you happen to know the inerviewer, that would be helpful
Something I find so bloody funny is that this advert scared the shit out of me as a 6 year old. Legit, screaming for my mum to turn off the 'big green scary man' on the tv. Now Gorillaz are my favourite band and Murdoc is my favourite member of the fictional side of the band. How times change folks.
Haha! That was awesome! "It's MY BAND!" I guess this is what Murdoc meant by how he couldn't get into the concerts. XD I actually would like it if they made a movie for Gorillaz using the 3D. It looks way more life like and it's funny with the emotions they can show. I really love this new style.
I had so many different emotions during this whole video... I can’t describe them all..to shorten it up I was basically fangirling and screaming in my head😃👌🏻
What you all don’t know is that, after the video ended, the desperate Murdoc attempted to bribe the guard on the right by offering him a chance at worldwide fame and glory as a new member of the band -- the “new Russel”. Surprisingly, the guard took him up on that deal! And his first act as the “new Russel” was to promptly break Murdoc’s nose for the ninth time, and then left the band due to ‘creative differences’.
It’s weird because you know their fictional character but when you listen and watch their videos you think of them. Like that’s them no one else. But this just slaps you in the face as a reminder like “Oh ... right... they aren’t real.” And that for some reason just hit me like a truck Even though I alright knew...
