Separate beds rock. Wish we had room for that although hubby wouldn't like it. I'd love one just to myself. He's twitchy, rolls over like a derailed train, it's not easy. I lived in hotels in the US for extended periods of time. If you can't afford first and last month's rent, plus utilities, plus internet, etc a hotel is a good(ish) solution. We paid like 20$ for wifi and had all the hot water and electricity we needed. Cooked in the room (some had a kitchenette) so no take out all the time. Yes, some are worse than others but we stayed at decent enough places. Police visits to other rooms were not infrequent but oh well. We were ok.
My partner and I have been together 21 years. After 3 sleeps together I had enough. I need my own space from the twitchy, rolls snoring guy. I love my bed. I love my room. I think we would have split up by the end of the first month of living together.
@@mandiejonsen right! I recommend a CPAP for him or at least a sleep study. Did wonders for hubby who stopped breathing 32 times and hour! It's the quietest machine, too. 👏🏼👏🏼

She claims to be self made but that doesn't exclude that she might have been raised in privilege.

Alex... the average rent across canada for one person is 2500. A 2000 dollar apartment doesn't exist, especially in toronto the most expensive place in Canada. But even in Vancouver, BC Canada, my sister was paying 2600 to live in a one bedroom apartment SEVEN YEARS AGO. And it's been going up by double over and over again. 2000 dollars gets you a basement in a house IF YOURE LUCKY. That hotel price is a GOD SEND!! is it canada? Please god, I hope so but I doubt it T_T Edit: and utlities can be as much as150-200 more, depending if you also get a parking spot i'm sure it's wildly above that. For non Canadians I will elaborate a bit more. We are over 2 million short of housing, and we are inviting over 1 million immigrants to come and live here per year. They are living 5 people to a 1 bedroom apartment to survive, or 12 people to a 1 bedroom house, etc. There are only 33 mil residents. Right now there is a bill in place to double our immigration, despite no low income housing, or any housing really (unless it's a 3 million dollar one story house) is being made, and thus prices are going to skyrocket way about our 2500 average for one person here. There was recently an attrempt to make low income housing in Victoria. The building was illegally sold off the real estate people, apartment by apartment. So they would buy them up, and resell them for millions. A lot of them own 5+ apartments, houses, etc across canada. The rules are so relaxed that it was turned into a normal downtown apt investment scheme, and is being held by buyers and real estate agents who were able to buy it for the discounted rate for people in POVERTY, and re sold at the usual 1.5-2.5mil mil rate about two years from now, beacuse the only rule was that you have to own it for two years or something. From my memory, the buying rate was 80,000, despite all housing being over 1 million in canada (and that's considered outdated and cheap) because it was meant for people in poverty ONLY.
Chantal has no free healthcare in Canada. Citizens must reside in canada at least 6 mos in a 12 mos period to have it. If you are out of country longer it is shut off and you must reside 6 mos straight (and pay during that time) to be eligible for reinstated. She has zero health insurance anywhere right now. Kuwait or Canada.
What if she never went to Canada and the footage was old? Why would you do these trips to Canada so frequently with no purpose apart from The visa run, there are cheaper ways to do visa run? Or maybe it’s something to do with her bankruptcy or courts that she needs to go back?
