The game will count your moves for you under the "stats" page in the game's achievements. You should be able to reliably use this if you're having trouble. Keep in mind, that extra moves most often occur while trying to interact while the game is waiting for a cutscene to finish, or when you try to click but accidentally drag. Make sure you make slow and deliberate movements during your game! Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for the guide! I was pretty reluctant to complete this but following along I was able to complete it in one sitting by pausing every now and then. I made a few errors but still managed to pop the 500 moves achievement.

Hopped on this guide since the game is being removed from Game Pass. Excellent guide as Maka. I did the stop go method with pausing and watching. Did the speedrun and moves in one go. I did skip the clock achievement for safety and went back in to get it afterwards. Able to knock this out in an hour. Keep up the great work sir.

Great guide. Got the 500 moves achievement and under 30 mins by following along with pauses. One or two mis-steps, so don't worry if you click wrong a couple times. Plenty of leeway. Your video is amazing.

Awesome Guide, with Voice over HELPS SO MUCH MORE, Than the other, Voice-Less guides I’ve seen where the person goes waaaay too fast, doesn’t say anything(no voiceover) AND She is playing on PC, so you can’t actually see her ‘Cursor’ which just makes it’s all the more Aggravating… I figured out the first couple chapters on my own!!! And then got to a point where I had to look up a guide, THANKS MATE!!

@@SKOMEpocets LMFAO, I did though. Literally every move I paused it. There is about 450 moves in the game. So yeah... literally about 400 times. Kristain said he paused 50 times just in the first 5 minutes, and its a 30 minute video. Why is it so hard for you to belive we paused the video that many times?

Wow this really helped me out. Was scared cause i was making accidental clicks but after putting my foot down, i beat the game under 30 min and under 500 moves in one go watching and playing at the same time

Great video! I beat the story on my own, got some of the achievements that were easier to figure out (Demo, first try, etc), and used this guide to get the speedrun. Now I'm gonna watch it again to get the 500 moves one, I will take it slow, pause, pay attention so as not to make any mistakes. Thanks for the guide. The commentary was succinct and on point, with clear directions, but also with some comments interpreting what was going on to help understand it.

The time skip appears to be broken. If you skip to 7:42 you miss setting the red hand so the star doesn't appear. Will need to restart chapter 3 again - I _hate_ relaxing games with needless and incredible strict time/moves achievements.

Yeah, the skip noted section is a mess in this video. Rest is great though. Best to just do it as he does even if going for the speed achievement because if you follow the skip message you'll find it's all wrong and end up ruining the run.

Thats kind of the point though. To get the under 30 mins achievement you need to be deliberate but also pretty fast.

I've been trying to do the 500 moves for about 7 runs now and somehow keep going over 550 moves following the guide exactly? I'm just dropping it and moving on, good guide all the same Maka!

tell us we can skip the wrong time but dont mention we still need to heat up the red one, wasted about 10 moves weird but i got the under 500 moves achievement but not under 30mnute one even though i kept pausing, perhaps figuring out the above cost me it by seconds

I would play the Video in 0.75x speed and Look first a couple moves and then do it for you. If you skipped the Time achievement with the Clock, you have to load the green chapter (3). Thanks for the guide.👍🏼

I completed the game but couldn't remember every step when I tried to do it in under 30, so this was helpful. Play. Pause. Play. Since I'd also already gotten the right wrong time, that gave me some extra steps to mess up on.

3:00 into the guide.... Zoom in zoom out... Zoom out... Drag.... Zoom in zoom out... Click here and zoom and drag. Then zoom out and zoom in. "Ok I'm good thanks.. I'm done" maybe I'll try another time..

Well, got under 500 moves, but the 30 minute achievement won't pop. According to my stats, I've got over 1 million hours on this game. Methinks that might be where the problem lies. Broken ass achievement. As usual, thanks for the great guide

Do you even play the "Right Wrong" trophy within the 500 moves? I tried it 4 times yesterday without the 6-10 moves for "Right Wrong". That without success. Can individual chapters be improved in matches or do I have to go through the whole game in one go? 30min were no problems but the 500 moves-trophy doesn't drop. Good video ... thanks anyway.

Just in case, at 10:18 by going off the fire my red hand went back to its other position so I had to fix that. Not sure if it happened to anyone but if you don't get the dusk sky that's the problem. Hope this helps someone😁 Thanks very much for this video!

Happened to me but it was because I didn’t zoom in on the dial after it had burned. If you don’t zoom in it will just revert back if you remove the flame

Trying to keep up was anxiety inducing, which is ironic considering the game. Had to play twice because of the 500 moves so that sucked but it's a neat game, if you weren't fighting time or sweating over moves but that's a completionist mindset.

The dexterity achievement is glitched for me. I've done it at least 10 times and it won't pop. I can do it in even less movements than this guide and nothing. So frustrating...

Thank you so much for the walkthrough @Maka91Productions I finally finished the game. I still need to get the under 500 and the speed run, but I think it's going to take me a while to get those. I'm mad at the game right now because after completing the 2012 demo it did NOT give me the achievement for it. I don't understand why it didn't. I finished it. Has anyone else experienced this problem and can tell me what I may be doing wrong? Thanks

This is still working on xbox series x finished it today, also i can confirm that you can do it in multiple sessions( i did it in 2 sessions). also something i noticed that the moves done on the xbox states is not accurate, i am sure about that. maybe it counts the times you paused? the moves number will go up but in the states but it will not count towards the 500 moves, Thank you maka
