“Take less, do more.” What a great mantra! I’m and old man, 67 y.o., now and I’m in search of a backpack that will help me during my attempt to hike the AT. This will be my third attempt. Number one was right after college, 1978. Number two was right after retirement from the Army, 2006. My family always came first. My children are grown and gone, now. Second retirement will happen 31 Dec, 2023. My third attempt will be Spring of 2024. Family and money are no longer the issue. This time it’s just me. I need a backpack to help me do this.
