Thissss, and people love Serena when she did the same things and even worse than Jenny, and she always judged her and five minutes later she would go and do the same, being the supposedly mature one, but she is the love and Jenny the hate- i just don't get it

Thank you, and the only reason she turned into that was because she had no one to talk to and grew up in a toxic place with mean girls, and boys who wanted to take advantage of her. No one helped her except Nate

Especially the during the time when serena made it obvious she was trying to split up the family to have her dad around she actually made that sooooo obvious. Jenny tried to save the family she gave up because of how serena treated her but by that time the work jenny put in had paid off but rufus looked at jenny and told her she tried to mess up the family and she needed to go 🤨. Jenny wasnt some high school brat but rufus always treated her like she was. But in the same breath would comfort serena when she made mistakes big ones to

mila anna tbh I think she would have been a really interesting good girl gone bad kinda character. Like in season one she’s so innocent but by season 4 she could be a cold as ice villain. I just don’t think the writing did her justice

the hate mostly came or comes because of the Chuck situation, literally when Jenny gets hate its from fans that love the Chair couple which in retrospective is dumb af since Jenny always got the short end of the stick everytime she messed up meanwhile everybody else was magically forgiven lol The GG fandom is mega bias, but Jenny was a good character that made the show at least entertaining, and at least her ''change'' was portrayed as exploring more of the world around her and ultimately growing pass her mistakes unlike lets say Vanessa who was annoying af and always holier than thou.

@@thekid8224 you say smart, but Jenny isn’t more intelligent she’s just more bold, some would say ruthless, and that’s what made her dangerous, I think at points even Blair was afraid of what Jenny could potentially do and it weirdly earned her respect. Even if she didn’t like Jenny, she knew Jenny wasn’t an easy opponent like the other girls. Blair saw that Jenny desperately worked her way up and I think it reminded her of herself: how she always had to plot & scheme to get to and maintain her position (while things came effortlessly to Serena).
