I just bought this stream dech switch, it's simply wonderful, whoever created it is a genius! I liked the name change that you made on the Black button, to s/src, I think there is more to it, my suggestion would be that in the next model, you put a cooler for cooling, I noticed that it heats up a lot, in a Long transmission may cause overheating, but other than that, it's perfect, congratulations Osse.
Congratulations Osee, mixer with impressive features, you are a true genius! This will definitely add a lot of value to our live broadcast work, you guys took care of small details that the competition didn't think of, an on/off switch, headphone output, line input, and other features that are impressive for the price of this equipment, I'm definitely going to buy one, thank you very much OSEE, you will lead the market!
Can I use a Lilmon5 as a mini monitor for my Osee GoStream? If so, can you recommend a AC/DC power cord that will work with the Lilmon5 so I don't need to use a battery?
Also, does this record in HD or 4k to SD card (and at the same time as playing from SD card as well?) and is it possible to record to SSD attached to one of the USB's? Thanks!
We can record and play simultaneously, with the highest quality up to HD. The SSD recording and playback feature is expected to be released around April next year. In addition to supporting SSD recording, next year, it will also be possible to transfer files using FTP from an SD card or SSD.
I got mine recently and today did some testing. A neat little device. However what bothers me is that with my test material, I get quite obvious color banding in preview and program out. Why is this? Even when I play back my test video from SD card. Of course, h264 compression is apt to yield color banding, but not at high bitrates. However, for a video switcher I would expect it not to introduce any banding at all. Well, funnily the Blackmagic Atem Mini PRO ISO has the same issue, but not as severe and not as obvious. Is there anything you guys could do about this in a firmware update? It is also a bit unfortunate that the system frame rate cannot be set independently from the HDMI output framerate. Say I'm streaming 30fps, but have the same picture on a display which unfortunately can only do 50 and 60Hz, then I'm stuck (or must buy outboard framerate converters). The USB-UVC doesn't work for me on my old Kubuntu 18.04 with OBS. Would be great to get this fixed. Apart from that I must say, this is a pretty impressive piece of gear at that price point. I really love that it can be operated without a computer software. Is there a way to adjust encoder bitrates for audio and video for custom profiles for streaming?
@@osee_tech I did some further testing. Despite my criticism, the GoStream Deck amazes me, I must say! I fonud that the DSK can do semi-transparent PNG files. This is quite something! I found out, however, that the range of the 8bit alpha channel is applied quite coarsly, most of all differently from what an image editor like Gimp would do. This might be worth a look in further software updates. It would be good if the alpha channel behaved more like in standard image editing so that one can actually predict how it would turn out when creating the graphics. The remote software looks very good to me and is very easy to use. It could use its screen space better in the future on bigger screen. The streaming configuration accepts XML files which I created for Blackmagic devices. That's very very cool. What I'm not understanding is why the quality settings in this XML files do not get used and are not made available in the user interface. This would be nice, since I put some effort into these in my existing Blackmagic setup. I still have to check if I can stream to the Blackmagic Atem Streaming Bridge. With several streaming outputs available, this would be fun! Btw., the Atem Streaming Bridge, I'm sure you could do this for half the price. Anyways, congrats for this product. Oh, what I also like is the DSK handling with the buttons. The rate option for slowly fading in the DSK however doesn't seem to have an effekt yet.
@@osee_tech Apart from my other points 7 days ago in this little thread, I want to be a nuisance for one further point: Even if it doesn't yield too many extra customers, please consider making your control software available for Linux and please make sure the USB-UVC works with Linux. Why? Because in fixed setups like schools, churches, universities where there is one PC used just for streaming purposes, Linux is a good choice. Even more so in poorer countries, because Linux variants that can run safely on old, inexpensive hardware do exist. Which would go together well with your low-budget video switcher.
Hi, thank you for all your comment and suggestion, they are very important to us. We invite you to join our GoStream User Group on FB, we can discuss the technical issue there, hope to talk to you there soon. Thank you! facebook.com/groups/oseegostreamdeck.
@@osee_tech I would like to continue the discussion but I am not on Facebook or Instagram any more because they drive me insane. I found another thing in the GoStream Deck… so when I have the video playback in the preview, it will start playing as soon as I switch it to live/PGM. This is great. However, I noticed that when using the t-bar, it won't start playing until the video player is at 100%. This is not optimal. Also audio from the player jumps in suddenly when it starts playing. It would be better if the player could start as soon as it is faded in just a tiny bit using the t-bar or auto button.
The USB 1 is used for connectting the PC/MAC with OBS, Zoom, etc.The USB 2 is used for connectting a USB camera. As an AUX video source of the GoStream Deck, you can set the USB camera by following this path: Menu > setting > src selection > Aux > USB camera because the default AUX source was from SD card.
Vc quer dizer que eu posso usar um cartão SD de 128 ou 256 GB? se for isso mesmo que eu entendi, ele equipamento é o top das galáxias! Pra gravar eventos Grandes
@@osee_tech I have no words to thank, I can't wait to do a live, operating this wonder, this is here to help us a lot, the manufacturer Osee, debut deck, and the engineers who created this switcher, deserve a standing ovation
