@@omarhasaballa7818 It's a beast of a card, I have been using olama with webUI front end to run large language models with 13 billion parameters like a breeze. Often I forget that I am not using chatgpt, it's all happening locally. Games on the other side, Feel like a whole new world experience. The card is great and I would recommend it to anyone who's willing/thinking about getting one for sure.
Thank you sir!! You advice was spot on. As a non computer guy my only hangup was not realizing the motherboard had a clip on the back side holding the card in the slot. It was an adventure but now upgraded to a 8GB AMD Raedon Pro WX 5100 from a AMD Radeon R7 450 w/2GB. Should buy my Windows 10 PC some time.
Thanks you so much man, my AMD driver just deleted itself out of nowhere and every time I tried to install the driver again, it was stuck at 3% and even when I used the amd clean up utility it didn’t fix it. But when I used DDU, it instantly worked. DDU is such a W Programm I can recommend it to anyone
If sticking with same brand all i ever did was uninstall the drivers and installed card and reinstalled drivers. If switching brands then I ddu. Plus amd has it own cleaner utility.
We have had issues with same brand and different cards and even upgrading. We use a lot of cards. I would do this every time just to ensure you don’t have issues. We have had it happen live on stream with both AMD and Nvidia.
I will say only run each test one time. I did corrupt my Windows install running the uninstaller multiple times. The Display adapters text wouldn’t show up in device manager.
or just back-up your entire pc and ultimately reinstall your windows, all drivers and updates will automatically restore from which win update you downloaded (except audio drivers/gpu/cpu/peripherals/.netframework, etc they will have the native updates by default so they can ensure function) so, basically you go with a clean install of all you need // also this will work best if you got a new pc or trying to build one, else gonna be a pain in the Sarlaac's pit ( ._.)
Im going to build a whole new 1000€ pc with an 4060 ti gigabyte 16gb oc and a i5 14400f are there different steps than to take im doeing research rn already so i now what to do thx already!!
Great video, first time pc owner and bought it used. Would you suggest this for anyone who bought a used machine just to make sure everything is up to date? Also do you have a video on installing the drivers??
Hello people of robeytech I'd like to ask. Through out this entire installing and uninstalling drivers for the gpu. Was the new gpu the one that was displaying the image on the monitor or was it the native gpu? Where should I plug the Dp when doing these procedures?
whats the recommended steps if Im installing an entirely new system of win 10? Do I have do DDU then? Im exchanging graphic cards, boot up PC and make a fresh windows install. DDU still required before?
Loving the video as my 4090 as of late is acting goofy and I know it's something I did lol, that being said, that two different band color on you ultra is super dope. I love my ocean band and now I'm gonna do that same lol
Hello I just tried to uninstall my nvidia drivers and reinstalled them into my external because my local disk is real low on space tried to install into my external still saying not enough space to update my drivers
No wonder why my pc gpu crashes randomly, Most people told me it was from Driver Because it won't crash when at games but it crashes on chrome even in 1 tab..
I downloaded "amd radeon rx vega 10 graphics, 31.0.21912.14" through Driver Easy which is supposed to be most updated driver for my computer (2/20/2024). When I go to Device Manager to update driver, I get "The best drivers for your device are already installed", and it won't update to the current driver. What should I do?
If it's Nvidia to Nvidia, just load it with the MOBO graphics and launch GeForce Experience and you'll be okay, I didn't even need to reboot for mine to work.
No need unless you are changing brands. The drivers are universal. I went from an AMD 6800 series to a 7900 series and never changed a thing. Works fine.
@@jamesbp oh I guess Nvidia has some differences in their drivers then. I ran the AMD drivers for weeks without issue before updating to the newest driver.
We have had issues with both AMD and Nvidia even same cards but different manufacturers from the same families. This is just good practice to ensure you don’t have problems
@@RobeytechLive that is weird. I had no issue going from AMD MSI 5700 to AMD Gigabyte 6700XT card, then a reference 6800XT and then to a Powercolor 7900xtx. I simply take one card out and put the other in.
I've only read it now. It's nice that the graphics card replacement works so well. I only swapped my RX 6600XT for a 6800 and the card worked but I wasn't really satisfied. AMD and Nvidia must also have thought something of by offering an individual version of the new drivers for each graphics card model. It is not so universal that one driver can get the best out of all card classes. That's why new driver versions by AMD and Nvidia are available for download, sorted by graphics card. With AMD it is also important that user install the latest chipset drivers for there motherboard beforehand. Then DDU, completely remove the outdated driver version, maybe also enable that no driver updates are installed by MS later during driver installation. In my eye,s there was a big difference in quality compared to just swapping cards.
@@RobeytechLive Does the same apply to switching from an AMD gpu to an Nvidia GPU when I'm using a 7800c3D? Do I need to DDU the AMD drivers when I'll need them for 7800x3D iGPU?
I have a question, If I had an amd that died and i replaced it with an nvidia and i dont like it and im now going back to a new amd card should i run this and uninstall the old amd then the nvidia im crrently replacing before the new card ? thank you for your time . sorry , i found your video after all these cards . so im unsure if the original amd drivers are even still a thing now that the nvidia had been installed.
@@erikmalagon9705 yes...nothing was wrong actually...complete error on my end. I know nothing about this kind of stuff and just made a stupid mistake. I didn't know I had to plug my monitor into the GPU lol.
My AMD graphics card died Stuck in a same one but now have a steached screen . Tried everything to no joy. Mitght this do the trick but as i said my old one is toast so can not do your process.
