ummmm hmmm you or talking another half second in the 4's where gaining 2/10 of a second could be the difference between spending another 20 or $30,000 into the car itself. My point is, at that level a half second is like trying to get from here to the Moon. regardless how vicious the run was, it was something of a freak run in which he did in fact run very fast because it appeared every time he bounced and jam the throttle he got pure hookup so in effect there was no hanging, just pure twerk and acceleration repeated at least four times and for the other guy who said that's the trick to try to keep these things down, it's not hard to keep the front end down with the four link setup it's just hard to find that perfect middle where an snc do want to lift the tires up off the line to the first 50 ft and if you watch pro stock, that is basically perfect racing where from aspirated engine they're getting the absolute maximum out of a car to the point where it's damn near aerospace technology.
That was my uncles old car used to race it but had a small wreck His name is Tom Ashley, but his driver who is driving in this video is Micheal Neal, the burnout king.
Watch "NEVER GIVE UP - 3000hp Twin Turbo Mustang comeback(original footage)" on RU-vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oebpmYmN004.html
@Stephen Newman Probably the most violent car in the world,if you tell people what happened in the video, they roll their eyes In disbelief, Until they see it. The wheelie at 600 feet is ridiculous, thanks for sharing
@@badmudderrutters7460 you're right about that. That Chevys knees would be knockin at the line against that mustang. That mustang is the most insane example of horse power I've ever seen.
Weight to horsepower must be crazy. Hats off to the track managers as well to have that thing hook like that and keep it a safe pass without blowing the ties off.
Or he wasn’t making enough power to keep wheel speed up and had to peddle it before it shook because he stuck the tire!!! Hooking is not that rad when talking about a slick tire because they are a controlled slip tire. When a slick tire “Hooks” the next thing to come is SHAKE!!!
Everytime I get a notice I have to watch it till the battery dies. To freaking awesome. Younger day remembered. This is what I call the shut up factor.
"BREATH THE AIR" I Been watch, n a bit of current & a lot of nostalgic racing over the past few years, yet this I think is the first I've seen of this "OUT THE GATE" racer. That's "BALLS TO THE WALL" absolute "ENTERTAINMENT"
They call that torque,, and TRACTION sports fans!! Awesome!! As others have asked, we gotta find more footage of this hot Nova!! I'm suscribed so gonna search the Urban Hillbilly for more!!
Flow chart for this run - tracking straight?-If yes stab throttle repeatedly only lifting briefly to diminish tire shake and to allow the steer wheels to touch down occasionally.
NEVER GIVE UP - 3000hp Twin Turbo Mustang comeback(original footage) and EVIL TWIN TURBO MUSTANG - 179 mph on BACK TIRES!,,,,just type that in your search bar in youtube.
