LOL. I recently realized how much space those spools of ribbon take up. So I took some chipboard, cut it into 3x4 pieces and wound the ribbon around those. They take up much less space!

I enjoy this sort of thing and call it the scrappy strip technique. I do it with ribbon, paper, foil, etc.

Thank you for the ideas. I am working on a new baby girl journal. I covered a book with a unicorn fabric. This will work out for the journal, at least in my head. So thanks. I had never thought of this, I have craft boxes after craft boxes with ribbon and this was a great idea to use up some of them.. already made about 7 different ones.
