this title is cap, any champion that has an execute in their kit, and does burst dmg as a bruiser is not mechanically difficult, aa canceling is one of the easiest things to pick up in a game, riven's playstyle can carry over to other champions since shes bursty Fiora is alot more difficult since all of her dmg comes from vitals and you need to be positioned perfectly to get all of your dmg out(literally one of her combos to get the quickestult vital proc contains her flash, flash isnt apart of any kit) the positioning for riven is literally 'be ontop of the enemy', I will agree that her skill ceiling is high, but her skill floor is underground, anyone can pick up riven and insta nuke someone, fiora skill floor is high and her skill ceiling in high because of her vitals(are nothing like anything else in the game, like the aurelion sol of top lane, or something like singed uniqueness) can be seen and actively played against(reset) riven skill floor is underground and her skill ceiling is high

See guys, in this video Neace is learning getting a coach for himself. What does that means? That Neace is ALWAYS learning stuff about the game and this is HUGE. This actually proves a point that i bring up a lot, that the most knowledge ones are the ones who are most likely to be open minded about learning new stuff, and not afraid to admite that they don't know something. I'd actually really like to see you learn this champ in games. You are exactly the guy who would end up taloning around the map with riven, tilting everyone else off their game.
I'd like to see more of these high mechanical videos. Really useful for understanding how to play with or against a champion, without having to learn the champion in great detail or having to watch snippets of professional play.
Damn im early After watching, all I have to saay is I learned so much. Riven is just not a champ for me but now I know her more for when im against her.
It's ridiculous. There's no champ in the game that has anywhere close to as many combo's. Most definitely the champion with the highest mechaincal celling.
@@matth4069 I think the closest difficulty champions as far as combos go are Zed, Qiyana, Jayce, Lee Sin, Fiora (4 vital proc), Yasuo (80% of the time its the same combo, but mastering the timing for his aa+e+q, especially with low attack speed, takes a lot of skill)

I have watched you for a while, but this vid was beyond amazing I have to subscribe. Riven was one of the champs I tried back in season 5 but after watching this I have won 8 games straight with Riven. I had the fast combo down but I would have never thought to practice on scuttle to perfect it!!! 5 stars bro this was the best guide I have ever seen!

I love that Neace is so keen on swallowing his pride when he succeeds so as not to lose focus, and is always ready to move on to the next section of learning. You can always see a hint of a smile that instantly transitions back into attention

For anyone that doesn't know or hasn't watched Neace since the beginning. Don't let him fool you! This son of a gun mains Gangplank one of the more difficult champions in the game. Yes he's the Macro king but his Micro is just as well lol.
@@usr21882 I disagree. There’s definitely a lot more action with playing Riven since her fights are longer and she’s more melee, but hitting a fat barrel combo is very satisfying
ive been religiously maining riven since the end of season 6, and nothing brings me more joy than showing off the cool tricks riven can do that people who dont play riven dont notice. ive coached many of my friends on the basics of riven and only then does it click for them how much riven is capable of, and it makes them realize the amount of work i put into perfecting my craft ;) simply playing riven, win or lose is enough to keep my hooked on league, shes just fun to play
I really liked seeing you also pausing occasionally when the coach said to do something. As a teacher it helps me to see a coach learning and doing the same thing students do. Gives perspective.

Thanks for this vid! Everyone mentions the "animation cancels" on Riven but no one wants to actually show how to do them. This is why Neace is the best!
Something that can really help you land the q on the target is having the curser placed directly on what you're animation canceling. You can put your curser off them to lunge when you press q, as well. So you'd do that against matchups like illiao because it makes it hard to hit you when you're qing through her so much
That was super fun to watch you getting coached too. It shows your viewers you understand that it’s scary to play new champions but you can overcome that timid phase if you try :D
this is an absolutely mind blowing experience to watch all this shit be explained. literally the difference between proper combos and just spamming q is like double the damage.
even if you dont play riven it helps laning against them, probably for u too neace as u stated in the video multiple times of how u saw what they were doing but didnt know exactly what.

I have played a lot of riven and honestly never really clicked to me that you can always have her q up if played correctly. That is honestly game changing

27:50 I would just like to point out that not only did he use E there, but you can in fact wallhop that inhib without E. Just go straight, but slightly to the side, and you still hop further than over towers.

Riven is one of those champions I tried briefly when I was very new to the game, wasn't good enough to really grasp how she plays, and never touched it again. I really need to give it another shot because this kind of champion playstyle is what I love the most in League.

Practice tool cd reset breaks riven double casts, this is why u sometimes fail it when spamming it in quick succession, the cd reset also adds in a weird combo bug with E R1 Q W if u reset with R1 already active
I've played riven for 20+ games and you did all the combos better first try then I've every done them. Guess I'm bronze 3 for a reason lmao Great content, helped a ton.
