Wow I really love you skills! You are such a great scientist! It's good to see someone else like me who takes this hobby very seriously and approaches everything very scientifically instead of just kind of shooting in the dark like so many people do! Thanks for the video it was very informative! I have a dino problem which i think is going away cause i have been raising my nitrates too to around 15ppm, but it';s hard because i have so much live rock, live sand, good refugium, good skimmer etc. My Nitrates do not really ever get past zero, so i had to slowly excessively feed, but not too much just a little bit more at a time and constantly measuring nitrates and phosphates.... but anyways your video gave me little more info so thanks!
Curious how many gallons is your tank and what tank it is? Also would you ever try Ich-X by aquarium solutions into your tank to battle one new fish with ich? I heard bad things about it and the back of the bottle even says it could effect inverts (filter feeders) which means corals basically...i was going to try it cause i saw one of my fish doing the itchy ich thing a couple of times, but now I think i want to adopt what you said about never using meds or any weird like that in your tank...
Looking great! Very jealous of the colourful sandbed additions! I'd like to have a busy sandbed but I'm worried about how well I'd be able to Syphon it! Maybe I need one of those conch snails 🤔
