So if I planned it right I was supposed to listen to only 5 tracks since the 4 remaining are exclusive to the album only… right? Anyway my instinct were right when I said this album might dethrone 7 for 7 which is my favorite album of theirs. And while this new album did not technically dethrone 7 for 7, they are now both my favorite album of GOT7. This album felt so much more mature and the RNB vibes got me instantly. There is definitely a sultry vibe to the songs and I love it, there voices fit this concept so beautifully. The vocals are so good, props to the rappers for singing a lot in this album too (thing that I absolutely love btw). All the 5 songs that I listened to today + not by the moon are all equally good but for different occasions for sure. At the moment I still love poison and aura the most tbh, both very different but both so very good. I loved how they were able to keep the concept of love/Romeo and Juliette but by giving us different mood/vibe each time. This is one for my favorite album of this year so far!

What also makes this album even better is that it has a storyline going on from the first to the last song. Aura is about how Romeo saw Juliet, it's that feeling when you fall in love, Crazy is about how Juliet makes Romeo feel crazy, he can't stop thinking about her, Not By The Moon is that balcony scene where Juliet asks Romeo to not swear by the moon bc the moon is always changing just like Romeo' s love to her, Love You Better is when Romeo comes again to Juliet, he wants to see her again and again, Trust My Love is when Romeo and Juliet got married, but they had to trust each other bc others wanted to ruin their relationship ( Romeo had to leave the city and Juliet had to marry prince) and the last one is Poison where Romeo and Juliet die. I'm so in love with this concept. The lyrics are so beautiful and poetic, it's so romantic and sad. I even started to cry when I heard Love You Better. GOT7 is the most romantic and poetic group. They just make you want to fall in love with someone or feel loved by someone else. I would say that I feel so loved by GOT7. And I also have fallen in love with them even more❤️

If you don't know the lyrics of "Aura" were written by Youngjae , "Crazy" by JB , "Love you better" by Jinyoung and Yugyeom participated for the composition of "Poison" Talented boys 🤩

One of their best albums indeed! Also Poison (in case someone don't know) was written and composed by Yugyeom, and it also Jackson's favourite song. The amount of talent our maknae has in immeasurable, I can't be more proud TT TT

The whole album actually tells the story of Romeo and Juliet from beginning (Aura) to the bitter end (poison). This is on a whole new level for Got7, thematically. Btw., 7 for 7 is also my favorite album of theirs. You've got excellent taste, if I may say so myself :D

It's only fair that Youngjae has the killing part in Aura as he is the one who participated in the writing, hihi. I mean, I loved this album, and it's obvious you were down and longing for some mature lyrics hahahaha, but it does not top 7 for 7 or Spinning Top in my opinion. To me this album kinda gave me a 1° vibe and I enjoy it for sure. Like you said JB does suit this style a lot, and so does Yugyeom's voice. It also reminded me of City Lights from Baekhyun, very R&B and sexy. I personally like Not by the Moon and Love You Better (Jinyoung did it again) the best, and I'm so hyped to hear the other tracks once I receive my album! Very happy too to see Mark shine so much in this album, it was definitely time 👏🏼 All in all, very proud and happy for GOT7 because they made another very good album!

everything that you just said, YES PREACH! GOT7 really has been v versatile with their concepts & sounds. also wow I'm impressed with your listening skill. yugyeom worked on poison with an american producer when he went to the US recently so that's probably the song sounded more western(?). about the mature sound, honestly sometimes got7 lyrics does makes me wonder if I have a pervy mind😂 the songs are definitely mature but fans don't talk about the lyrics as much. especially songs that are made by jb (crazy) and yugyeom. girl wait till you listen to ride by jb;) thank you for doing this reaction! I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the songs😊💚

i hate watching/listening to bside tracks from those kinds of channels because they always get the members wrong like here they kept getting vocal line mixed up. that's why i'd rather stream on their yt channel or on spotify with the lyrics up on another tab- that way i am supporting the artist more and directly giving them views and streams

It's a fun album. You can check out their Mcountdown performances for Aura and Poison if you haven't already. They're worth watching even if you won't make a vid. I'm a fan of the suits for Poison, which they also perform for Music Bank.

Ik I'm late but just like you said Trust My Love is really different from the rest, JB clearly does not really liked the idea of it being included in the album. I love the song in itself, but it doesn't really fit well with the other songs vibe
