That's the Nolan films lore. The comics never had Ra's train Batman. Unless there is some new comic stuff out there. DC rebooted like 3 times in the last 15 years. I could be wrong.

One of the earliest Elseworlds storylines featuring Dick Grayson stepping into the role of Batman actually had Batman and Ra's die in one last battle together (the Lazarus Pit is destroyed in the process so no more resurrections for Ra's). If anything, this game's plot is an expansion of that scenario. The basic idea isn't bad but the execution is where it will sink or swim.

Calendar and whoever condiment dude is… are not on Ra’s level. He trained Bruce, or was one of the many who has depending on the origin. Plus he’s a couple hundred years old, so him and Bruce being that much closer in skill is impressive. Them dying together makes just as much, if not more sense than say Joker and Bats. I care little about imaginary characters, but I think you deserve this: 🤡

@@im2fast4u14 agree to disagree, but I’ve always liked the dynamic of ra’s being what Bruce could be if he gave in to his darker side and decided to start taking lives. If you haven’t read many good comics with ra’s in them you’re missing out dude

@@peteryeter892 I can see that. Only exposure I have gotten of Ra's is through Batman Begins, Batman Arkham City, and in some of the animated Batman series. And in those he is not that interesting, in my opinion.

No it's just called The Clocktower, it's where Oracle and the Birds of Prey work at hence the huntress and Black Canary Easter Eggs. The Belfry is a different location that was created in 2015-2016 for a Batfamily storyline.

I'm glad to hear about people having genuine fun with this game. I don't believe it deserves all the flack it gets, and I wholly agree with you about Robin. My all-time favourite Bat Family member is Dick Grayson, but for some odd reason I didn't quite synchronize with him through this game, so my second choice was Tim. Especially with all he's capable of as far as stealth. Dick was still my backup, though.

Is it fun ? I'm still skeptical about it despite the fact that i really wanted it to be good

@@mouadel4219 Personally I think the game is really fun. Story leaves a bit to be desired and the endgame loop while some may claim its a grind its actually not to bad as long as you do what the game tells you to do.

@@HELLO_KORO Yeah basically, but it's meant to train the "next generation" in terms of Batman family members. They only had Red Robin on the team as a Robin figure, since Damian is leading the Titans in that time period. They didn't include Nightwing because he's already well-taught and trained. They included Spoiler because she was somewhat inexperienced and needed more training. The same goes for everyone on the Gotham Knights comic team. It's meant to prepare them for when there's no one else to protect Gotham, which I believe Gotham Knights (the game) took inspiration from, seeing as the Belfry is from the Gotham Knights comics and how it's after Batman died, instead of training for WHEN he died.

Makes me look back at Arkham Knight and realize I was to hard on it. Yeah the story gets stupid but the game (7 years old!) looks LEAGUES BETTER than this pile of garbage...

Game quality has been sinking for years. As the price inflated from the copious amount of shit sold separate from the main game. Usually holding back content that would have been in the game, to sell to you at a later date. While also allowing them to rush it out the door and actually finish the game later with patches. The $70 price tag isn't inflation, it's greed. Inflation's just a good excuse, because most people never look at how much hidden prices they tack onto these games.

@@Gentlemenpickleesq. funny thing is, Arkham was broken upon release just as much of not more than this game. And everyone loves it. Obviously the optimization is uncalled for but I got a feeling people are gonna look back on this game the way they do Arkham.

@@powerhouse6165 its probably cause they had a deadline that the game was supposed to be out more time in production the more it cost and the more it will be in development hell. Capping it to 30 fps probably helps all the major issues and makes the game playable so they can release it on time. Game making isnt easy coop makes it even harder.

Batman only trained with Ra's in the movies, in the comics however, he was trained by multiple teachers all over the world for like 10-15 years. And that's obviously not only martial arts.

@@doggymustach4749 I know you didn't ask me but I have an intel i7 and a rtx 3070 and I can get 1440p with raytracing off and get 70fps with some dips to 60. With raytracing I get 50 with some dips to the 40-30 range

Gtfo with Cassandra and Damian, Deathstroke is like meh as he can barely kill Dick Grayson who gave him multiple fair matches 1v1 and beat him while nerfed, Lady shiva and Ra’s are very likely still though.

@@Artryom If Nightwing could beat him he wouldn’t have ran away. Also he was unable to do it in Judas contract while having other Titan members assist him in battle. What happened in Dark Crisis was bad writing and inconsistent to what’s been shown prior.

No that is the clock tower in the comics belfry was Tim’s idea in the comics. Easy to get those two mixed up since they look very similar.

The number one reason people dislike this game is because it dosent have that fluid easy to pick up Beat em up Arkham Combat nor the gamelpay mechanics and physics from those games. Way back when this game got anounced that It wasn't in the Arkham Universe a lotta people started bashing the game even then despite never seeing gameplay. The Fans wanted "Arkham" Gotham Knights by Rocksteady not Gotham Knights by WB Montreal. I on the other hand am also having a blast as you can play the campaign at your own pace so that you never feel underleveled or unprepared for anything the game throws at you its all in the timing.
