Tbh, his and Nightwing’s major differences are their combat skills and social skills but Red hood can definitely carry a team and himself. As much as I hate his and Roy’s friendship, they kinda make sense for each other, ngl… It feels like a lot of Grayson’s friends and stuff, writers try to push them onto him.

Man they made Red Hood into a fucking pussy in this game by making him use rubber bullets and not real ones.

I've noticed that lol, vids from youtubers make this game look actually fun

The quality in the video they uploaded was horrible it was like 720p somehow. And I love how they pivoted from releasing it on last gen consoles cause everybody felt another cyberpunk incoming.

I think they did that to keep the real gameplay a secret and surprise. So it’s like “it looks fun but wait till you play it for yourself. That’s where the real fun starts”

Besides what looks good to YOU is different than what looks good to ME, it’s all subjective and for all I know the combat could be a whopping pile of garbage, and vice versa, the combat could actually be *pretty solid*, I’m hoping it’s good bc the idea of a co-op superhero game has been a dream of mine for AGES and after the mediocrity that was/is Avengers, I really hope this game delivers

I mean if other people enjoyed it by all means enjoy it but to me it wasn’t fun or enjoyable and before anyone says get good I play Nioh 2, Remnant from the ashes and surge 2 all of which are just as hard if not harder than Elden ring. I understand people liked it and by all means keep playing it but to me it was trash.

i dont think this got that much hate other than comparing it to arkham which people shouldnt do in the first place since it's not the same universe or company. But I do think that people had their concerns with the game being like the avengers rpg game and it's looking a little bit more promising than the avengers game rn

The hate came from the earliest gameplay when combat looked clunky but they either polished it or the person playing was bad

@@seb______ the avengers gameplay was NOT the problem so idk why people keep saying that was the bad part of the game. It was the GLITCHES and LACK of content in what was supposed to he a live service game. Since when have rpg mechanics been what ruined a game

@@LeMac-12 I think the people playing in the early footage were bad at it, but I would like to think combat should be able to stand on it's own even if someone is bad at it. Although, the Souls games are a good example of combat being good but someone can suck and make it look bad.

well they've got to think gameplay wise, yes he's typically very athletic, but would any of the other characters made sense for being the gameplay brute?

@@nathanielmorgan9108 Does there need to be a gameplay brute in the game? Not really, Jason has enough unique about how he fights to be seperate from the other charas without being sluggish, his arsenal is entirely different so it's not like he'd need something to set him apart

Fr. It seems so stiff compared to the other games. The main characters and the enemies all move so clunky. I’m glad Afro played this because it just helped me to come to a final decision of not wasting my money on it.

Luckily this is a test build, they probably are gonna be faster when we play the game. Maybe not fast as Arkham but at least to where it is fun.

@@AbysmalArtist imma be honest, I'm 50/50 on it. I'm a massive Batman fan (literally have the guy tattooed on my shoulder) and every media he's in, be it good or bad. I didn't have high hopes for this game but now, seeing actually good gameplay I'm a bit more okay with it. Still have some complaints about movement being too stiff. Since my birthday is just around the corner I wanted to treat myself to this game but damn is it a hard decision. Probably gonna skip it and buy it on sale (probably around December), GOW Ragnarok is gonna be my birthday gift to myself lol.

The thing is, it’s NOT another Arkham game. . Arkham’s not even in the title. The story isn’t connected to Arkham series the only thing that connects it, is the creators made Arkham origins. Which again isn’t apart of the Arkham series.. So maybe stop lookin at it through that mindset and you’ll come to enjoy it more🤷🏾‍♂️.

@@WalloIndacut I've never played that game but with this context I'm assuming that when you "die" it's sort of canon and you heal back up somewhere? That isn't the case for Gotham knights though so I'm not sure it would fit
