The game isn’t perfect, but it definitely has my attention. I’m sure over time they will make improvements, but the game is lots of fun. Im taking my time leveling an exploring the city. I also love that each playable character has their own talent trees and play differently. I almost didn’t play it because all of the negative reviews it received, but I’m glad I didn’t listen and took a chance. It’s loads of fun!
True story man. I'm having a great time with it, it has its bugs but nothing that prevents enjoyment. Reviews were too low for all that this game gets right. It's a solid 8/10 for me

I just wish the story was longer, I just didn't get as much as I wanted from the Court of Owls in the story, like the main villain was more The Voice of the Court of Owls than the actual faction themselves. Other than that, I'd say 7/10. I don't regret spending my Microsoft Rewards points on it. I basically got it for free😂 The whole 90$
Same man, before reviews I was still gonna buy, then after the reviews I was gonna wait for sale, then I watched ACG’s review and then thought “fuck it” and brought it and I’ve had some very minor frame rate drops every now and again, I am thoroughly enjoying the game! I’m a Red Hood main

Man, I'm completely IN LOVE with this game! It's one of the funnest games to come out in years. Can't believe how wrong the "experts" got the reviews on this one. Is it Arkham? No. But it's not trying to be. Modern Assassin's Creeds are better comparisons, really. And it has much better combat than those. It's way less repetitive thanks to having plenty of enemy variety and the nuances of combat.
I never could get into Arkham games especially the controls but i love this game! Its not perfect but they will improve it and i hope for lots dlc maybe
There is a way to go back to old saves, all you do is copy the save file in the same folder ( b4 you start a NG+) and poof you have a hard backup of the previous game. Its in the Locals/WD Games/Gotham Knights etc etc folders.
This game has its flaws but I’m having a blast playing it. Sure it could have been better but I enjoyed the story to me it’s a 50/50 on $70 but I now GOW will be worth the $70
What I did was fight enemies and get their health low then activate the drone. I got it quickly that way. It’s still annoying but at least it’s a strategy that works.
@@bryaneastvold3491 i literally just went in very easy and left them at low health I got it in like 20 minutes, it was so tedious she’s by far the most difficult one to do because of how many enemies you need to kill with the drone

I'm running a consistent 60-110fps with occasional dips into the 40s when I'm on the bike and that's at 5K, everything maxed, RT on running with a 3090. 3090 isn't even very high end now. Must be talking about people still using 10 series cards/equivalents or worse if they can't push 60fps at 1080p lol.

What performance issues, They aren't Any at all . Like what has happened to gamers this generation has become so elitist to the point they are ducking the fun out of gaming. I've clocked 50 hours in the game with no performance issues at all on ps5? If people have issues on PC that's not the game that's their Pc either below spec or having too much running in the background . The number of customers I've dealt with complaining of slow internet only to discover it infested with spyware.
I like nightwing as I can tornado spin more often but batgirl and robin is nice for stealth. Red hood can do lots of dmg and his leap is fun but not as much fun as the others
To me Batgirl is the best well rounded character, she's really good for stealth and combat and a good support role as she's even a Medic and can briefly buff a teammate.
@@route77productions Yea she is great for those but the only thing I don't like as much is her gliding, it feels too slow and the others (especially nightwing and robin) can just stay in the air without grappling again. The gliding is fine sometimes it you don't travel too far.
@@McSmurfy the gliding isn’t slow at all you just need to rely on the momentum to speed you up if you’re just gliding without relying on the wind then yea you’re going to move slow
When the heck will it let me unlock bat swarm?! I main batgirl and keep swapping for the other heroes movies. Feels like I'm well over half way thru the game. Defeated Harly, Mr freeze, first fight for clayface
I switch about after every main mission but when i do switch i go thru every character and upgrade the highest gear because you get new gear and attribute points for each character while playing as 1
The best way to play this game on ya first play thru or any play thru, just make one knight your main for story missions and then use the other 3 knights for thee 3 lengthy side missions with freeze Harley Quinn and Clayface... so my main is knightwing, I did Harley missions with Robin, freeze missions with Batgirl and clay face missions with red hood.. don't forget to do street crimes/premeditated crimes with the other knights so you can unlock their heroic travel!.. the game is pretty good🙏🏾
Ok… hear me out, red hood is done, idk how that happened, the other 3 need 2 more, I’m at 8.2 in main story, like for bat girl how in the hell you get the drone ability to get swarm ability, I’ve done all the stories, I can’t fly, I can’t glide, and I can’t teleport, I’m only missing 4 trophies, the rest of the man bats for main mission 2, chapter 8, upgrade to level 40, and platinum-wtf am I not getting????
Yeah had it as well but luckily made a back up, went back and will play new game plus with these abilities now :) hope to help others not make the same mistake
I believe DLC characters will only be restricted to Batfamily members. So Batwoman, Damian Wayne are the two most likely considering the story. People have mostly been asking for Batwing, Catwoman and Cassandra Cain more than other characters. I don't believe we'll see any non Batfamily characters get added.
Unfortunately it's because the recently fumbled Marvel's Avengers game did the same thing, both games are fun, and I'm glad Gotham Knights didn't go for micro transaction but DC usually mirrors Marvel to some extent

I felt maybe it was odd to hear bat-family with those types of weapons, but I can get past it if it's fun. I really wanna buy this but I'm truly hoping for a 60fps boost. I'm not anti anything else, I just wanna enjoy my PS5 for what it's worth :P
@@juanyehbassard2958 who the fuck wants to hold rt just to get 20 meters further. Batgirl is the only actual glide that works. Nightwings is okay but you just go straight then down. Utterly pointless traversel especially considering you've gotta grind the fuck outta the game just to be able to use something you should have from the start.
@@troysills425 night wings glider can go upwards and downwards. It’s not just downward gliding. It’s rocket propelled literally just hold up and you’ll go. Robins is the best for entering combat. Either way the bat cycle runs faster than all forms of traversal. The knighthood abilities are literally just an addition to the parkour system it doesn’t have to be the most perfect thing in existence updates will come out and hopefully robins teleport is buffed but batgirls glide is positively butt cheeks. Shits slow. It loses speed mad fast. The dive is stiff have you tried turning while diving? Impossible.
It can be in certain ways but once you get the hang of abilities and gear and stuff it gets easier. Even setting it on a lower difficulty helps starting out that way you can take your time and learn it. Trust me it gets easier with time and patience and this game isn’t nearly as confusing with rpg elements as some other games. It just isn’t clear how to unlock certain things which could be addressed in a patch or until people start really unlocking things. I’m only missing one color for my batcycle and everything else I unlocked. You’ll get there it just takes some getting used to.
Its because everybody in the game has it even enemies, some elements do more damage on certain enemies and the elements change the way suits,melee and range weapons skins look

The more I see examples of the combat the less I like it. The not being about to block is a strange choice on the developers part. I have no idea why they made that choice but the constant dodging just looks silly to me. Why wouldn't they be able to block? Did they new developer just want to step away from what Rock Steady did? It was a bad choice IMO. I'm still waiting before I buy. I may never buy it which is a shame because I really like the Arkham series.
