These are gorgeous, especially the red one! I'm keenly anticipating the lookbook that these beautiful accessories will be accompanying! I know what you mean about needing a recharge. I've been battling with bureaucracy all year now, trying to finalise my residency in Czechia, & I will definitely need a month in a sanatorium once it's settled! Sadly, my art practice has been completely on hold... I guess it will be there when I get back to reality!

@fikanera838 A drop in the barometric pressure can trigger migraines, puffy eyes, and swollen fingers for me. Googling a barometric chart before starting my week helps me plan accordingly. All the best to you.

Love the use of gothic architecture motifs in these! The taco talk did not make me hungry but did inspire my silly little brain to dream up a bag that looks like a taco. I'm hoping I can forget about it soon so that I do not convince myself to actually do this mad thing.

There are cactus, pink flamingo, strawberry bags around that I've seen recently. Why not a taco bag for a fun accessory? Do it in gold crushed velvet and fill it with jewelled trimmings - red sequin string for sliced pepper etc. A fabric napkin folded as a wrist strap could work. You know you want to.😂

I inherited my Aunt Virginia's love of beading and shiny stuff. She worked beaded sweaters and brooches on her brocade jackets and loved beaded and bright handbags. I absolutely love everything you create. Thank you :)

You did a really nice job figuring out how to tackle this bag. Other ways to put in a zipper would be with a gusset. It’s not too hard. There is a method of making the bag with an inside zipper pocket in the lining that think you would love. If you have the time, I can send you a direct video that shows the steps.

Wow! Those are very cool - the gold one was my favourite. A beaded or sequinned version would be incredible but not for a good long while yet, you need to sleep!! Im considering knitting or crocheting myself some large 40's clutches. I wasn't a fan of them but then i started watching your videos and saw your beautiful collection of bags and i was converted lol 😆 now i want my own collection! You take care of yourself 💖

All three of you Clutch bags are beautiful. I used to carry a clutch when I was young. Then I switched to a shoulder bag in High School. After I had children I carried big hand bags (that would hold everything needed for the children). Now I am thinking of switching to a cross-body bag. Using a cross-body bag may be safer for an old woman like me. However, I have never owned or used a backpack.

if you have a lace doily you can use a spray fabric paint, you wouldnt need the vinal cutter, but those are cool

Once again, you show what a sewing artist you are! These clutches are great. With the mesh insert, for structure, how do they feel in your hand? I'm big on zipped pockets inside my bags, so I will definitely add one in my future half-circle bag. I don't have a Cricut, so I won't be cutting any vinyl, but I also won't be making one anytime soon, just at some point...Anyway, I've missed your vlogs! Wi-Fi and computer issues have kept me away since April! I've got a lot of catching up to do.

If one wanted access to a cricut, maker tools like that are becoming more common in public libraries, or community centres. I know not everyone lives near a place that has that kind of library... but if anyone hasn't checked to see what's going on at the library lately if they have one... this is your reminder. :)

Have you considered a gusset, the zipper panel and it should work well for you. I’ve been making bags and using different stabilizers, decovil heavy and light.

Beautiful bags, but please watch any standard bag making videos- it will save you massive amounts of time on zipper insertion. But loved the HTV and the design process.

These are all stunning! Bags are always an interesting engineering challenge. This is a really cool project, I like what you did with it. While watching I was trying to decide if I made this style how I would sew the zipper in without having it go fully to the fold. I'm a klutz and I am pretty sure I would have everything slide out of that accidently. But I would absolutely try my hand at one of these to carry to a fancy event.

So beautiful reminds me of my trip to Notre Dame long before it was destroyed. I’m glad I got many pictures of the windows. I’m not sure if they’ll ever be the same when they get finished remodeling the cathedral. And I love the shape of your purse. I’ve been crocheting a round one with a rose on it, and I would love to be able to get one of your transfers. I’m not sure what you call the transfer of the window.

Such a cool idea! Can you cut out slices or rings of the different rose window vinyls to create a multicoloured pattern? That might be a lot of faff though! Love the idea though, and the “mock ups” are still very stylish and useable

A taco clutch is such a good idea! Have it open flat while you're putting things on top of it, zip it up ready to go, and you can open it and see all the things to find them! Only made better by an inside pocket for medication and hair ties 😉

those look great! a tip to make zipping and unzipping easier - add pull tabs to the ends of the taco. it'll help you not to open the bag too far, and will help with getting a good grip for zipping closed again.
