+NinjaWorldWarrior16 This is why Gouken had to give it everything he got, going Holy is his only way to stand a chance. This was the down fall for Ryu, his path was going dark, a realm only Akuma mastered.
the only few things that I suggest is that Oni get a few more hits or maybe a nice special where we would think that Gouken is about to die. you gotta build suspense, Oni went at it with Asura and wasn't defeated, yet it look like Gouken wiped the floor with him rather easily, also you need more powerful looking scenes, Oni broke the moon from the force of his punch, but on here his fight with 2nd form evil Ryu was more powerful looking than then final round with Gouken, still great scene, and animation, and story
Man you have improved dramatically between your akuma vs ryu fight and this one. The sprite rotating felt a little overused in some bits, and maybe you could've used a bit less quotes (some of them didn't even follow much context and seemed to be there for the sake of it), but overall very nice work. The fight was quite enjoyable.
***** Okay,good to know that.. I had heard about "Violent Ken" I'd have to see it/him in action to see if it's similar or better than Ryu's, and Akuma's. I just hate that he's left out, I would've hoped and Imagined that he had the capability to do the same as those two... whether or not it's as powerful or not wouldn't really mattered much just the idea that he should be able.. ah well... thanks.
This is my critique: - I don't think the FF8's music fits this fight. I get that it's there to highlight the drama between the fight, but I'm not a fan of using music from other games to show that. (my opinion) - The fight looks slow and the voice acting doesn't help. The pace gets disrupted by the dialogues and the hitsounds are... weak, at least I feel they are. - Gouken's "transformation" is weird. Wings? That sound effect? That sprite quality change? I'm not a fan of this, sorry. :\
+Alex Sinigaglia This is just my style of animation, I think outside the box from what people are used to seeing when it comes to Street Fighter sprites. Yes the transformation of the wings represents Goukens Holy side. And the sprite quality is because of his new look. If the fight was even faster than you will not be able to see whats going on, I wanted this to stand out from the rest. I think the voices works so it can have some sense of a story to it instead of just plain fighting. And the music brings out the intense of the moment.
The only one to beat Akuma as Oni is Kage who is the strongest in lore Gouken can't even beat Akuma at all only character who can beat regular Akuma is Oro who is on Shin Akuma level.
@@alexlexusZXpredator Gouken has never beaten Akuma at all their fights are always left undetermined Akuma beat Gouken however Gouken had to use the Power Of Nothingness to survive Akuma Raging Demon.
@@torestrictivefan8336 its in canon Gouken beat akuma in their first fight. then in the rematch as gouken was older Akuma / gouki learned the SGS in which gouken used MuNo hadou to survive along with the tip from Gen. Gouken and Gen are the only ones to live to tell the tale.
Gouken can't even defeat Shin Akuma so how could he possibly defeat Oni? Hell not even Goutetsu could defeat Shin Akuma and he was the one who trained Akuma and when Akuma defeated Goutetsu as Shin Akuma he was still inexperienced in using the Satsui No Hado to it's fullest extent
We've never seen Gouken go full power mode tho. Unlike oni. So what's so bad in assuming? We know he held back a lot against akuma both the times they fought, since gouken had no intent to kill him. Idk if shin gouken is canon or nah, but assuming him to be stronger wouldn't be against the canon, I guess.

That's not true loool it would be closer than you think don't under-estimate Gouken hes the only one to beat Akuma even Goutetsu (Gouken and Gouki/Akumas Master couldn't do that
