The best fried chicken I've had so far in my life is Korean style fried chicken. Thrice fried and then covered in a sticky sauce. This recipe here is more of a traditional fried chicken and I can't wait to try it. I love how Mike shot down all the "that's not a coleslaw" comments in one go. I'm optimistic this will save us from having to see such comments. And finally, I've said this already but I am loving this new series. My other co, mental was posted when I was only a few seconds into the video but now that I have finished watching it, I think that this new series is probably going to have a spot amongst my top 5 Sorted series.

Sorted Food at the Table! Okay, so it's not exactly the same. But I loved that series over at the Tastemade Channel. I've always missed it. And now I'm glad you lads have brought it back, albeit a little differently, here at your own channel! :)

I love the recipes, the videos, the app etc. but I think the reason you are so successful and the best thing about SORTED, is that you're all such good friends. To be able to laugh whilst watching a cooking tutorial is so great, and I love this series already for that!

I'm glad you guys used a buttermilk marinade. It really makes a difference with fried chicken! However, I recommend doing a double-coating for really crispy fried chicken (after taking it out of the marinade, coat with seasoned flour, dip in an egg wash, then another coating of flour). You could also add a pinch of corn meal to give it some extra crunch.

We do that when ever we make chips anyway. A tip for crispy chips is to fry it once until they're cooked, higher the temperature of the oil and fry until crispy.

This reminds me of sorted at the table, which was my introduction to your channel, and it's kind of nostalgic to watch. I'm definitely going to put this on the menu next week! My grandma taught me the trick with buttermilk to make chicken more tender, but I never thought to use it as a marinade.

I loved the "At the Table" series you did on Tastemade; that's how I first found Tastemade. I'm so excited for this new series.

I grew up with my grandmas fried chicken using crisco. I live in the south (nc) and have had a lot of fried chicken, hers is hands down the best I've ever had.

Currently 11 weeks pregnant and feeling hungry all the time with no appetite... The non-pregnant me would absolutely LOVE this, but my food aversions say otherwise at the moment. Roll on second trimester when I should feel more normal! These look amazing!

Haven't enjoyed a Brooklyn Brewery in years. For this meal, I'd recommend an IPA for the light flavours. Loved the sweet potato chips as well. Brilliant!

This series really reminds you that food connects and brings together people. It's something as fun as it is powerful - Often times in the cafe I work at what we love eating is how we start to converse and bond, and many times we held pot lucks! Really liked this idea. It allows you to get some great recipes out, whilst also letting us get to know how you guys behave as a group. It's weird to think that we only normally experience you in pairs and in a less relaxed/chilled state.

Healthy alternative to frying the sweet potato is to toss them with coconut oil (after the corn starch and paprika) and bake them! I do this all the time and they come out crispy :)

Sourdough garlic toast. Nice soft sandwich sourdough, not a lot of holes, margarine, garlic powder or garlic salt. Toaster oven on broil til nicely golden brown. Crunch down on a cool morning sitting on the furnace vent before school while drinking hot instant sugared tea. Sure keeps teachers from asking too many questions early in the morning....but it's good any time, any where!

The Brooklyn beer makes me very happy. Looks awesome.
