Excellent review. You were very thorough. I bought one from Costco for my wife for Christmas. She is happy with the size and says its like a second oven and is happy it makes popcorn. Great when we have lots of guests over. We keep it next to our oven so any smoke can be vented out through the oven hood.
I wish you could do reviews for EVERYTHING! Every question and then some that I had about this , you answered ! I have never found anyone give as much detail on a product review as you have . Ty so much! Your in-depth reviews have saved me not only money but also saved me from buying 2 air fryers I thought I really wanted that wouldn't really fit my needs or how I cook. I really love the grill feature and probe feature but the units that have them are way to small for me. I realized I could just get a cheaper larger air fry oven and a separate grill and probe for about the same money as a small unit that grills. The Gourmia xl will fit my needs perfectly! As well as my cookware lol

Thank you I just purchased this oven at Costco and your work has been very helpful. I now understand there is nothing I can’t do with it. We have a gas range & oven we wanted to stop using due to environmental issues caused by natural gas. This a perfect solution.

After my purchase, I have been AMAZED at the quality and multitude of uses! Its versatility and SUPER easy clean up is a game changer in my kitchen. I've dehydrated herbs and peppers, made pizza from scratch, and even a cake! Reheating leftovers??? FORGET ABOUT IT!!! Once the reheat function is used, the food is just like freshly served!
Good video. We picked one up at Costco last week on sale. we found it was too big and seemed like maybe it would be hard to clean. we used it once and did not like how hot the doors and edges of the unit got, and not just hot but super hot, burn you instantly hot. we took it back the next day. Not a bad oven just not for us.
i have the next smaller model and i love it, had it for about a year, only thing i have to add is depending on what your making you may have to rotate what ur cooking halfway thru because the back gets done a little quicker. Alot of times it does not matter jsut sometimes it does.
My wife bought this french door air frier oven and it works great. But the beeping sends dogs into a panic. Unfortunately the beep cannot be turned off. So I was forced to take it apart and pry the buzzer off the control board. Nice and quiet now.
Hi Darnel...Thank you so much for another super educational video. I was just about to purchase this one...all does sound worthy...friend of mine has a cooking Channel "Amy Learns to Cook..." and she just loved this unit....further down the road though, after using not more than on occasion...she did video on how very hot the front gets & when she opens the door, she is afraid each time she might get burned...Also...her doors do not close properly after occasional use... I do think all things are worthy of telling viewers so that is why I am mentioning it....I know you haven't had those experiences, but I also read on other's reviews about both the hot front & concern that if they weren't very aware of keeping arms out of the way when pulling things out...they might in fact get burned. I watched video today of your review of the Double Oven..Ninja & you mentioned this one most liked over that one...and no problems on your end for this machine in either of the two things I mentioned... Thank you for the detailed information. I was looking for the Oster & came home with Gourmia XL from Costco. A little concerned with the radiant heat. The goal was to minimize heat in the kitchen when using the oven.
So informative! Thanks to you I ll be holding on to a rack from my Oster that died ,it served me well over the yrs . I was intrigued by this brand due to excellent reviews on airfryer features . Wasn't familiar with this brand yet now I feel more confident & seems almost identical to Oster features especially with adjustments. Very curious about pop corn ability which is a feature listed on box .

Thanks for the tip, for fifty bucks I can find a spot to replace the old black and decker toaster. I just occurred to me that the old black and decker was a 1994 replacement toaster oven. Been a good one, just is not big enough.@@cerisekarpinski9697
I have that same oven. I have struggled to make any food crunchy. I am going to buy a small basket cooker for crunchy foods. It did great with canndied sweet potatoes for 30 people though.. Good review!
Actually, Walmart has both. And, they do have the XL on sale for $50, but sold out of stock. Walmart did not name the XL as "XL", but they have both. (And their larger one is this same XL.) Check their Black Friday listings. Or if you search "gourmia" on their front page, you will have to scroll for a while. But it's there $50.

Just bought this oven and am over the moon happy with your demonstration. I will be watching it a few times more to remember everything. The one thing i wanted to know though is can you set the time on the oven? Not for cooking time but for regular time?

I just bought one and I like it. However I dislike that you are not able to bypass the preheat option. If the timer stops and you need to add more time it will preheat again. Very frustrating it is set up like that.
Thank you for this very detailed video. I initially watched it in order to verify the placement of the crumb tray. Since crumb tray goes on the bottom, underneath the heating element, and the instructions say not to use foil, there is a concern with food or grease dripping onto the bottom heating elements. The instructions don't indicate it, but looks like I always need to use the bake pan along with the air fryer basket.
And, you should avoid all things aluminum as much as possible, including the foil. Aluminum is very bad for your health, and leeches into your food if used during cooking.
Could we use parchment paper instead of the aluminum? I used the baking pan under the fryer basket ( to fry potatoes) the pan got some drips and was very hard to clean.

For the baking one I wouldn't be surprised if it's because the temperature isn't like an extra 15 to 50° higher than it was supposed to be yet since your test kind of show that it does go higher than it's supposed to be at

I put tinfoil on drop pan hopefully no issues with that.... have the Omni plus, but it's beyond well seasoned. It's a hazard but I love it so much. Discontinued. So I got this one sale. It's much smaller but it fits more inside than the Omni plus and it's quiter..... This might be a winner 🏆🏆🏆

I bought this and the Kalorik xl and found both your reviews but I still can't decide. I like the size of this but the accessories of the Kalorik (review didn't seem too positive) . Do you have another recommendation to have both good size and accessories?

i also liked how thorough you were in this review as i've been thinking of getting one as well since my 40 year old toast ovens elements are starting to die. i have one question though, when you air fried the chicken, was it already cooked once and you put it in the oven? it didnt look raw to me. the only thing you didnt test was a frozen pizza and the dehydrator. have you tried that? if so, how did they turn out? thanks!!
