Using the Gourmia air fryer to air fry a 7 pound rib roast. Total cook time ~ 2 hours...perfect medium rare, fantastically tender and juicy. Will walk you through the set up and cook settings.

Great video I just purchased same oven from Costco. Making ribs now. Looking for recipes and found your prime rib recipe. We make prime rib for 🎄 Christmas so I may try your recipe.

If you use the Slow Cook option you can cook up to 12 hours but your temperature is limited to either Lo 190 or Hi 250.

I find that cooking meat in this air fryer takes a long time. Is that your experience?

it's definitely noticably longer than the drawer style. It doesn't seal as well.

I messed up. I made chicken and i didnt put a drip pan. It said dont use foil so i didnt use that. But the heating elements were hell to get clean. Not a great start. Lol.

Yeah, I read the instructions and it said no foil. Not sure if we can or not.

There is a gap between doors, is there any smoke issue?

no smoke issues but because of the gap, it doesn't trap heat as well as the basket style. But you take the good with the bad...good being that you can cook a larger meal if you have a larger family.

My Mother in Law doesn't like pink either. Well, the bright side is more for me! Edge to edge pink (135) is my preference but to each their own. Best of luck on your holiday cooking!

meat not meet, and pink in the middle of meat is how you get he maximum flavor and health benefits of eating it in the first place! If you don't like pink in the middle I suggest cooking smaller pieces of meat, at least that's how it's done in 5-star restaurants!
