It’s not a bad thing for candidates to go into “unfriendly” territory. Part of the reason Trump got elected in 2016, was that he and his surrogates went into programs on NBC, CNN, and even Bill Maher’s show. They spoke to people outside of their bubble, and it paid off.

@Barberdan - exactly. That's why it went over most people's heads. He was corrected about the cattle thing, but then threw in the dad joke because orthopedic shoes correct how you stand and walk. The play on words was perfect! I'm sure that joke is in his wheelhouse to say anytime he says "I stand corrected", but it was even more perfect here due to them talking about Desatin's boots.

Look at all the copy and pasted spam from the same people over and over. It's not like we can see you spamming this page raynor. And "woke" is what hateful people call compassion. Those who constantly whine against woke always seem to be the same people who whine about equality, come out with misogynist comments, or racism, or want to control other people's lives who are not affecting them in any way whatsoever, but they believe that they have the right to tell others what to do with their lives, irrespective of circumstance or situation. It's the authoritarians and fascists that complain the most about "woke" nonsense, and they have to invent things because their real issues are either so meaningless or so abusive of other people's rights, that they KNOW that they would get massive pushback. That's why Desatan here whines so much about "woke", but rarely gives real examples, instead fear-mongering about things that don't happen, or even worse, happened because of HIS actions, but like all other authoritarians who preach personal responsibility, they take none themselves for anything they do. Desantis is a hatemonger, he spends all his time making up lies to tell people, saying that this is what the "Libs" will do to you if they get control, knowing full well that he's lying, and that he himself has FAR worse plans for the people. This is the same lying POS that is STILL whining about Covid, but he made sure that he and his family got those shots right away! But he has openly said recently that MORE people should have died from Covid, and that it would have been good if they had! This is the man who made sure HE was protected, but did all he could to make sure that the people of his state were not only NOT protected, but it was illegal to get some of those protections! What "woke" really means is being compassionate for others, not just being a selfish, self obsessed turd. It means letting other people live their own lives as they wish, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. It means that you control yourself and are responsible for your own words and actions. Makes it obvious really why Republicans would be against these things, when they so desperately want total control of America, the government and the people, even though that is against the spirit and word of the Constitution. That's why Trump has said that he will tear down the Constitution if he gets in, install himself as "President for Life", take personal control of the DOJ and IRS to use as weapons against anyone who he thinks is against him, how he's going to strip the power from the House and Congress so that they cannot stop him doing whatever he likes. If THAT is what you really want for the United States of America, then you, like him, are a traitor to EVERYTHING that America has ever stood for, are standing against the Government, the Constitition, the Law and the People of the USA. If that kind of place is where you want to live, just leave the US and go live in North Korea with Trump's lover, or Russia with Trump's master. Unlike those places, you CAN leave America to live elsewhere. So go, live in the fascist dictatorship you lust after. But realise that even if Trump isn't barred from running due to the Constitution (He is) and isn't in prison for his crimes (He will be), YOU will NOT be in a better place in a Trump US Dictatorship. He and his rich friends will be at the top, and you will be nothing more than fodder, just like everyone else. You think that Trump will pluck you out of the crowd and elevate you to some high office, giving you millions of dollars? No. What will happen is the same that happens to ALL of Trump's cast off minions, you'll be thrown out with nothing, left to suffer the repercussions of your actions with no support from him at all, and he will not even know your name. Doubt me? Look at what has happened to EVERY ONE of those who has helped Trump. Thousands are in jail for him, from a couple of years to what amounts to life for some. He's promised to pardon them, but he could have done that before he left office, he just doesn't care. He could have pardoned ALL of his close advisers that are now being prosecuted for their actions, but he didn't, he doesn't care. Even those who asked didn't get pardons. A select few have, but even his closest, long term allies are in jail, without the pardons he COULD have given them, but didn't, because he doesn't care. He didn't even give his daughter a pardon for anything! The daughter he lusts after constantly! Nothing for her, nor her criminal husband. He only cares for himself, and he will do NOTHING for anyone else, just like he did last time. The ONLY ones who got anything last time were the foreign reps that gave him bribes, the obscenely rich and himself. None of YOU Trump worshippers got anything, nothing except for more and more demands that you give the so-called billionaire YOUR money for nothing.
