This is one of the most important auditing videos I’ve seen. The officers (particularly the one who spoke most) were exemplary in their behaviour and completely reasonable in their approach and responded fairly to ABs questions. These guys displayed a refreshingly unbiased, sensible and intelligent approach. I’ve seen hundreds of these videos and I truly think the police should use this one as an example of how best to deal with auditors and the public generally. Hats off to these 2 officers 👏🏻
I agree up to a point. AB was correct that saying they would follow him all day even though they agreed he was no threat is borderline harassment. That is what CCTV is for.
Have watched a lot of your videos and this was easily the most enjoyable. The officers were highly respectful, polite and rational. There was actually a civil discussion between you both without the arguments and stalemate that we often see. The fact that there was comedy and light relief changed the feel of the video, and we got something positive out of it rather than reactions and negativity. Admit it though, even you laughed when you saw he had your number very early on :)
Great officers. Down to earth, nice to see them acting professional and jolly. I think both sides took something away from the conversation, so we’ll done. Brilliant video!
The first officer was quite sharp. He followed his policy to the letter, remained cordial throughout the interaction and even knew about control groups and experimental groups for experiments. That's more than you'll get most of the current crop of police, so credit where it is due.

I like the one guy, the one that did most off the talking, the other I'm not so sure about 🤔 stayed a wee bit too quiet for my liking and I was watching the cogs turn in his head. But the sarge saying "we are all one race, human beings" YES BRUV 👌
Absolute joy to hear a positive interaction with the police. Intelligent, articulate and focused officers with a calm and helpful demeanour. As AB correctly claimed, auditor videos have helped raise the police level of awareness and politeness. It can't be easy being in the police force. If more younger officers coming through the ranks were to follow the fine example of these two exemplary officers, then it's a win-win for the general public and police.
I think this is probably one of the best auditing videos I've watched so far. I thought the Police Officer who did most of the talking was brilliant and you explained why people do auditing and the effects it's had since it started. All in all a really good video.
Comedy gold again from AB. And a education for some of our less well trained and experienced police officers, they could learn a great deal from these two. On how to interact with the public.

Which is the true purpose & I bet there all telling each other that they are not doing it for good or to promote good policing? It will definitely be negative that's why they come out shouting all aggressive n such? This is a breath of fresh air to hear some officers that are doing their job, not causing trouble, and more than one brain cell, but this is a different branch of the police force.

AB, my next door neighbour is a metropolitan police officer and he told me they have dll been briefed about Auditors and how to deal with them, that's why you are getting more polite officers lately. Maybe you should do more traffic wardens and Bailiffs now just to check their power trip!!
This is true. Apparently there is an email out to Police stations informing them of Audits and how to handle them. That's a great point on traffic wardens as many of them are rude

In America the police here most of the time treat you like your the enemy. Cops violating & abusing the citizens doing nothing unlawful. Your life is at risk when a officer is around. They are the last people I would call if I needed help.

A serving police officer who can explain with a intelligent response and answers. To a situation which he clearly and fully understood without the usual assumed authority of threats.

That was a good audit AB. It's good that you show the good encounters and not just the bad ones. Treated you reasonably and with respect, bearing in mind how sensative an area it is. I would have thought they were MOD Police and not Gloucestershire Constabulary. MOD and Civil Nuclear Constabulary seem to be more professional in their dealings with public.
They cannot be trusted. It is literally the first thing they have to say to you. "Dont say anything to me as I will twist your words against you. Remember, suspicion is simply an opinion without any evidence. Suspicion is the main reason for any interaction with them.

@dmc she was not stuck between a rock and a hard place. According to the police uniform dress code - as soon as she gets out of the car she is required to wear a hat to identify herself as a police constable. it does not matter what words or accent AB used, she was clearly in contravention of police policy and she should be reprimanded and disciplined
i found them very civil and polite , kudos to the female officer who walked away to avoid any conflict (not that she had too, after all, the UK isn't, as far as i know, not a sharia country)
Those two clowns literally got paid by the public to pointlessly stand there pointlessly wasting time by having a pointless conversation. They are beyond useless and the service they now provide to we the people is no longer fit for purpose and they are therefore surplus to requirements. At least these two were reasonably friendly about it all.

I think we need to expose who the private company is that trains the police. This, I believe is the root of the problem. This anti terrorism act is pretty Orwellian.
There are many companies and people who train the police, only on PACE though. My late brother trained the police on PACE over 20 years ago. Not sure if that is still the case now though. Hope that helps.
These coppers are the dangerous ones, very adept at engagement, professional in their attitude but all the time, gathering information and trying to get you off guard. You handled it well AB.
Good audit mate and you will find these police are of a higher calibre and more professional than their counterparts. I can also guarantee you 100% what they said is correct about response to people filming etc, they will be out there for anyone in the same time. They get all sorts of fruit loops turning up trying to get in or work out what is happening in there, so yeh that was actually a good response and they were pretty decent.

The way I look at police by consent is, that the citizens outnumber the police by many many thousands therefore the people allow them to police by consent of the people. The problem is, that various British government have taken control of the police and now use them to enforce government ideology by brutal force they have become the government Para military as was seen by the TSG during the protests around the country. whether or not that people agree. Thereby infringing the policing by consent.

@@wolvoman1 It is bias. A true officer has a bias toward being alienated from the public, that they hold the public in contempt, themselves in high esteem, as gods. No matter how pleasant an officer starts out, eventually be bias kicks in and they show their bias against the public.

GCHQ CHELTENHAM has special glass in all the windows which was created by a firm if i recall or installed by a firm in bristol to deflect all forms of photography it does some thing to pixals ????? , they even tested it using craft in space . there are a series of detectors, ground movement detectors on the perimeter which can detect any movement . i was working on the houses near by when they put all the security systems in , when our diggers moved it set their alarms off it go so bad they had to turn them off during the day

In fairness the police where professional, polite, and talked to AB, instead of barking orders at him, like some police have done, they need to be trainers for new officers.
