I will always remember when my brother in law owned a company and went through hard times. He downgraded his big car, sold his cottage, and cut back his spending and did not lay anyone off. He led by example. He told the employees that there would be no raises for a while, but that they'd all have their jobs. He did pull them them out, got through the tough times together and things got better. He never lost an employee. He had their backs, and their loyalty. He started a profit sharing plan. A few years later he sold the company, everyone made money and had their jobs contractually locked in. If the prime mistake of canada reads this, he'll have no idea what I'm talking about, or understand the point, I am sure.

Of course the destroyed the budget with their over spending. Charges should be laid.

I worked in the Windsor Airport , 1966 as a food worker with Macy’s Big Boy the contractor. Air Canada flew in and out and we made the food for them. We made the meals as to the contract and it would be equivalent to a restaurant food premade in a hot box. Paul Martin Sr. flew in 3 times a week on a Viscount, or Vanguard with a secretary and crew. These Liberal meals are catered in by a gourmet supplier, probably a Liberal supporter. I bet the wine isn’t Pelee Island! The food these royal lookalikes eat is gross corruption and a remake of the menu. What do flying military eat going to fight in Europe etc. This is a bad joke on my taxes.

I remember every thing you brought up. I follow everything going on and then I save it. I have it all saved. So much waste, so much disregard for us Tax Payers. Her hotel room in London didn’t have a butler so we had to move her like 80 km outside of London paying twice as much for her hotel wuth her butler and had to pay for her limo’s to go to and from London England. Like Sophie has not been with Justin since 2019 but they still pretended to be together so we had to pay for both households. We are still paying for a nanny for his kids that are now all in their teens. The only reason they had to announce they were divorcing is because the doctor boy toy whom she is shacking up with, his wife outed that Sophie was living with her ex husband. Plus Trudeau gave Sophie $25 million to start up her Toronto communications company. It was about to come out so they separated and have an agreement that she is now a private citizen and nobody can go after her got any money she may have received from Justin’s government. And what ex wife goes on vacay with their ex. She is still billing the tax payers and went to Jamaica for her $9,000 dollar a night swanky digs. She went to Montana after they separated and she went to Tofino too. Justin claims she pays her own way. I call bs on that. She just hops in his jet to get a free trip. Sophie Trudeau is as big of a scammer as Justin is. So entitled. Right now Poilievre fits coach. His expenses were the lowest out of Trudeau, May, Singh and it blanchet. Singh extending the most at over $500K while Poilievre expenses like $60,000 over 12 months.

Should remind us of the $12,000.00 dollars a month we the taxpayers pay for his groceries.That does not include utilities.That's another $15,000.00 dollars

I vote to have the Canadian Taxpayers federation be the gatekeeper of the public purstrings. whereas the government can table a budget - subject to vote in the house but the Canadian Taxpayers federation has the final say as to whether or not the spending is approved or not - and this would also include all government personnel's expenses - which first they will pay out of their own pocket - submit the receipt to the Canadian Taxpayer federations scrutiny whereby they can approve or deny. This would drastically reduce the outflow of money to a realistic level that will help the taxpayer!

I think the entire compensation package needs to be looked at for politicians. Yes....we want to give them a good salary, but you can't expect to be paid north of 400K a year, and then put in a bill that high for airplane food. We pay you a very good yearly salary...stick with the peanuts like the rest of us, and if you need them served on chinaware then that's on your dime not ours.

This is common at all levels of government. In Winnipeg we have a bureaucrat at city hall making $480K a year. He'll make double what most Canadians make when the leech retires. We're all tightening our belts while it's a perpetual golden age in government. Still, too many Canadians seems to be okay with that.
