U turn to privatisation & merger of Banks due to downfall of of the reputation of Modi Govt and very tough fight of the opposion.

Need for 5 day banking as mandate. If we fight now we will get it as govt is having unstable situation they have to obey it and even privatisation can be stopped also

If not in the mood to give all Saturdays holiday; 1st, 3rd, 5th Saturdays should be paid separately. Because almost all govt bodies and undertakings are working 5 days a week only. Why discrimination with PSBs ?

In Indian economic environment 5 days banking is neither possible nor advisable since more than 50% bank branches are in rural area where banking literacy very low , customers do depend on actual transactions. For urban & metro it may be possible & practical.

How can govt divest in current scenario? Every psb is doing great as far as profit is concerned. Nd if these banks get privatised poor people will be shambling cz of the private sector banks as there are huge money to maintain a normal bank account. We have competed with lakh of aspirants to get a stable job in psu . What about those struggles. No one can answer. It's very good of current govt as it's depended on coalition or there would be anarchy system
