A lot of artist buy branded brands items and remake them to something else. It’s very common. Example the korean idol stylist that turned a LV TOWEL into a one piece
@XANCY PILLOSI baby you need to tone it down a notch .. you literally repeating everything I said in an angry and toxic way. Either go find some peace and love or get the fk out of the comment section babe I can go buy Gucci add a logo or two and it’ll be custom. Not fake fake is getting the Gucci from China (as you said )
They have been around for a while. When I was working at investment banking in New York back in 2017, I seen a handful of women having the goyard purses
Wow......smh..... they easily could've and SHOULD'VE reached out to him, due to his level of influence, and said we see u wearing pieces that aren't familiar to our collection, where did u get them and would u like it if we sent you some of our authentic pieces? That would've been a respectful way to find out the truth first. For all they know maybe he had a stylist who got scammed but it was something they didn't even think of or expect. I'd never wear their line again if I were him.
Why would they offer him to send authentic pieces when they about to sue him for wearing fakes . Lol. You don't reward people who wear fakes with new free original ones ..you don't get free clothes just by wearing fake shit
@@droo3010 perfect example of common sense not being common... there's no way a man of his means would intentionally wear fakes, so AGAIN it's possible that his stylist put him in it without knowing. There could've been several different VALID reasons as to why he was wearing what they THOUGHT were fakes. Including the VALID reason he gave. He was never wearing fakes so it wouldn't have been about rewarding him it would be about getting to the bottom of where those pieces came from and being sure to get some authentic pieces to him and maintaining the relationship with someone like him. Instead of being foolish like they did and like u sound.
Luxury brands like Goyard (who don't know how custom works) would probably lose their shit if they have seen how innovative the Kpop entertainment is lol
i am not in the PR or show biz but just out of respect, i would reach out to goyard first b4 publicly accusing someone of wearing fake stuff to try to embarrass them.
Goyard is not even all that I worked for them and sorry they don’t paint each logo they use big press machines. Second the materials are not even the best it’s plastic with cloth…but I guess people love what celebrities like even if it’s bad quality and taste
Khaled is such a sweet person , like he is incredibly chill, he could have destroyed them in the tweet but he’s like nah I’m going to be the mature one and let it end there, I swear he is just absolutely lovely 😊
Totally agree. Seriously lacking tact and diplomacy, they need to fire a few because that behaviour damages their brand more than any repurposed item out there.
An iconic one piece suit in Nayeon’s music video “Pop” was made out of a luxury brand’s beach towel, so people are doing cool things with famous brands and I’m here for it.
When DJ Khaled sounds more reasonable like you in an argument you lost the control over your life, let alone the twitter page of a multi million dollar company 😂
I bought the cap vert and the very first time I wore it, it fell off my lap as I got out of the car and landed face down in a puddle of dirty water. I haven't worn it since.
He should sue goyard for defamation. He has million of followers and brands he represents. And goyard made a public statement, that a major celebrity, is wearing a fake item that they didn’t make. That’s defamation
These fashion houses need to learn how to deal with matters in a mature manner like grown adults before publicly dragging someone. I applaud DJ Khaled for handling it with the class and diplomacy they sorely lacked. *SMH*
Some luxury brands reject repurposed branded good because they want to protect their intellectual property. They may not want the registered mark to necessarily be associated with someone they don't like or wish to promote.
That's embarrassing especially bc it's a known trend for celebrities to wear clothing made out of scarves or even towels. Their social media manager isnt up to date and embarrassed the whole brand
Mixed message. Both parties are right. The material designer is correct because they didn't make it whi h makes it not authentic. DJ is correct that its real because it is made of the original material. Prime example with justin bieber customized Ferrari. Pissed the car maker off. Designer style is a vision and many do not want to expand that vision on everything. Stars should start there own labels instead of repurposing others style house's brands.
