Out having a swing on the slopes in the Mt Crawford pine forest. Using the GPX6000 and just listening out for the whisper changes in threshold, that could indicate a deep target.

The 6000 rocks, I love it. Once you've got your ear in the depth of some small bits it can pick up are crazy. Well done, cheers 🍻.

Awesome persistence mate. SA is hard going and I wish we could get some land unlocked to detect in. Needs corporate pressure I reckon to get the SA Government and opposition to listen 🤞🏻. We can only hope

Thanks mate. Yes some more ground would be nice. We can walk in it, ride in it, even fish in it, but swinging a detector not so - seems kinda stupid to me.

Good gold for Crawford it's not easy going out there with all the rubbish but nice to see some bits still being found.

Absolutely. I know the area well, and some spots are so worked you struggle to find targets of any sort. But there is still a tonne of targets to dig, especially away from the more obvious spots, which makes patch hunting a little bit of a challenge.
