Skater jeans are baggy jeans. It’s super trendy in the skate community rn. Polar Big Boys, Butter Goods Pants, Empyre has been popular sellers for those jeans. They sell almost everytime my local shop gets them in. I find most skaters go a size or two up just to get that baggy look.
it is unfortunate though that it is trendy cuz it ironically delineates skating. gq could’ve got someone who actually skates to talk about “skater pants”
real skater here uhhh wrangler and polar skate co have bomb jeans but I also really like carhartt normal jeans they aren't super baggy like other ones but they are super comfy still they probably are like a cross between skater and straight fit
And ofcourse they just HAD to mention supreme at the end as if we (actualy f-ing skaters) already didnt know these guys talking about "skater jeans" aren't ignorant enough
Never cheat with slim straight jeans, they're versatile, not too skinny, not too relaxed, proper with nearly all wardrobe combos... even tucked with your metal tees and some Chucks and call it a day.
Gr8 content. This is so refreshing to see different fit ideas. Straight leg ,high rise and flared. The top fashion influencers nowadays are ALL skinny jeans and skinny chinos. Im not crazy about super baggy either, but Thank you GQ for this content. Good conversation
I want the perfect slim pair of jeans. Everlane's uniform slim jean is the best fit I've personally worn. I size down one in the waist, and it fits like an inbetween slim and skinny. Love it.
This video is so 90s... things went full circle again. Waiting for the rave skirtpants to come back in 10 years time. These guys look back at it in 20 years and think that they look a bit silly...
Rag and bone fit 2 chinos and jeans are my bread and butter for every outfit. They make nice washes and make all their denim in the US. (Fit 2 is perfect if you have more athletic legs) or you could rock some levi 512s for another good slim straight
Yes. Rag and bone makes great clothing. They do colored denim really well. And if the $200 price point for jeans is too high, just wait for a sale. They're worth it. A.p.c. is too
I dont know who in GQ made this, but they should be fired. I wouldnt be caught dead dressed like the majority of these dudes. Also, they didnt really do much recommending, it was more like a info on the jeans themselves.
Is it just me or is Avidan so incredibly jarring and eccentric, sounds like he loves himself more than Prince Andrew loves kids. He’s quite exactly that kind of guy you’d ironically impersonate.
I feel like if you are spending over $100 on a pair of non raw selvedge jeans, you are paying too much for crud that should cost about $20 without the branding.
Nah man. Raw jeans are awesome. I have a pair of freenote that I absolutely love. But there’s much more to jeans have to offer than just being raw in form.
I know it is bad to have any style in any colour, I basically have that, but they are all thrifted (greenwashing myself step 1) and I hardly need to wash (greenwashing myself 2) as I basically wear a pair maybe three times a season, hang it out in fresh air, and put it back in my drawer. For the summer I have another 30 pair of jeans shorts.... Never need to shop again....
