The Gränsfors Outdoor Axe was developed with the help of survival expert Lars Fält. Lars wanted to create a small forest axe with improved splitting properties. The result was a small and neat axe with a length of 37 cm and a weight of 0.5 kg.
Thanks to its relatively long handle and elongated head, it can be used for felling and limbing smaller trees. The outdoor ax is also designed with a thicker axe head and protective steel collar, which means that it can be used for light wood splitting tasks.
This makes it suitable for packing in the backpack and to use in different ways when out and about in the countryside.
