Noooo... I just placed an order for Max Orido's 感度MAX a week ago😂 Now I'm scared if I'll have to file a return once it gets to me... To me, the only problems with GR86's throttle are lag and rev hang. The sensitivity curve is good. If 感度MAX fixes the first two problems I'll call that a W.
Rev hang is mainly caused by the heavy flywheel, same goes to the throttle lag, kando Max or other similar products will help on the throttle lag but to get rip of rev hang the only thing that works is to get a lighter flywheel.
@@kogecc In modern cars, rev hang is programed into the ECU. The ECU keeps the throttle open after you lift off the pedal. Therefore a lighter flywheel will not fix it. A lighter flywheel only works when the ECU does not rev hang programed in. As for GR86 it's definitely programed for emission purposes.
@@davidzhang1704 yeah bro i get the idea for the ECU. but a light weight flywheel is still necessary if you dont want the rev hang and the lag... I tried Ktuner on my civic fc1, there's a option to disable rev hang on it but i dont know if you can call that a effective one, the result is so tiny.. my mechanic told me to get a lighter flywheel.
Is your aftermarket steering wheel diameter smaller? This may be why at high speed you find it more twitchy. Put a super large steering wheel and compare😂
I strongly believe in personalizing and tuning your own car to your what you want it to do. I used to be very passionate about car mods. However, I guess I'm getting tired now... exhaustion. I can understand not everyone can afford to buy a true sportscar, and also there are actually much less options available to modifying a sportscar (as compared to an economy car). Well, every car has its positive and negative traits, however I definitely don't understand why anyone would put in so much effort and resources into turning a basically economy car into something it's struggling to be. I mean it is what it is, and if you need to go through so much mods just to get it to work 'properly' to their liking, I would just say to them, save the money and get a better car.
@@852foodie Actually, recently a video just popped up in my FB video feed, DC5 TypeR with full-tilt 620hp (1,270 kg) vs a ‘tuned’ much heavier M5 (1,930kg). Even with such extreme street mods, the DC5 struggled to keep up with the M5 purely on acceleration (not mentioning drivability, handling, nor brakes). I think all this David vs Goliath concepts are really pointless exercises. Honestly, you dream once, realize reality and should just move on. Time is precious
