What you are going through everybody has their moments of fears and insecurities. I totally understand because I am at where you are now. I have been hurt so bad that getting close to somebody does not even interest me anymore. Before I was all open to being vulnerable but now I have experienced the pain that it causes by allowing myself to do so. Maybe someday I will be open to try again but I don’t see anytime soon or if ever. I guess I’m okay in my own space doing my own thing and not having to feel if I don’t want to but I do know if you are willing to allow yourself to feel and you are with the right person or people you can have amazing things happen in your life. I do know because at one point in time in my life I allowed for pretty much anything goes, within reason because I wanted to be able to experience amazing things in my life so I just let everything be spontaneous until I realized not everyone feels the same way. For one thing some people weren’t raised with feelings. I honestly don’t know how I ended up the way I did but there was no affection when I grew up. Feelings were never shown and if they were shown there was feelings of anger and negativity but I always told myself I wasn’t going to be like that or do anything like my family did, I was going to do the complete opposite. Not even sure my family even liked each other. In my family we missed out on so much in life and I always knew it but you can’t change other peoples perspective on things. People usually only give what they are willing to give, no more, no less. When being involved with others they usually let you know where you stand with them. Most people will let you in only so far and that is it. I guess it all depends on how close you get to them. I don’t really know anymore because I’m to the point now that I really rather not get too close because I don’t really know what their intentions are.
