I went to a thrift store and everything I liked I found myself saying 'said yes to it' or ' in my cart it goes' 😂😂😂 I even say it with my Jamaican tinged Long Island accent. 😂😂

At the Reseller Remix in Vegas, one of your reselling friends said to the crowd that you pick up items for $3 and sell for $300…stunned murmurs from the crowd. I wish my thrifts had those bag walls. You can tell the people who run that store take care with everything. The majority of thrift stores in my area are a mess!

Your barware pitcher is “Queen’s Lustreware”. It’s definitely MCM. I have the pitcher and 6 matching glasses. Sadly, no stir stick. NEVER give up the stir stick, lol!

Those glass compotes that you're picking up (at 13:00, with the green center) are from the 1970s and used to display plastic ( or real) fruit. My mother's had one with matching candle sticks on either side that she displated plastic fruit in on her dining room.

The gnome piece you passed over is a 1986 Tom Clark piece called "The Dove School Bus". It's retired but the comps are all over the place.

AWESOME! for K sweater deserves a Big Lashes Day! Rooster was a recipe card box and holder. Very nice store! Phone call from Prof. coming soon! Pink glass could be a fat candle holder.

Those glass pedestal dishes are soap dishes. Part of a bathroom set. Comes with a towel holder for those small fancy hand towels along with a pedestal mirror. My mom use to put several fancy little soaps in the soap dish when we had guests.

The Polar Bear could be from a company called HADELAND GLASSVERK. They make crystall figurines and have a couple of polar bears. They retail for about $85.

Wow that store is really neat and tidy. Kudos to the manager there. Congrats on your sweater sale. I remember people wearing those in the 90's, but that one did have a unique pattern on it. Well done Karen. The brown pattern jug/one person Tea Pot with lid is vintage Denby early 1970's likely made in the UK. Should bring about $40. in good condition.

Karen, Buddha statues do sell very well! I don't know about the jolly, big-belly Buddhas like the one you showed here, I have never tried selling those. But the seated meditating Buddhas are very popular, either in brass, soapstone, or ceramic. Many people have them in their homes, even if they don't consider themselves Buddhist, for meditation practice or even as a reminder to slow down and be mindful in the moment. I have never had a meditation Buddha that did not sell for full asking price.

Glass Polar Bear: I do agree that good quality glass is usually marked, but over the years I’ve seen much of it, especially vintage pieces, are marked with the small foil labels that get separated from the piece over time, often from repeated washings. It’s especially frustrating when the thrift stores put their pricing labels over the surviving maker’s label and the original gets damaged removing the thrift store pricing sticker.

Hey Karen, great haul as usual and you look great too! You can call the candy dish 'coral or blood orange'. I wish you did take the other big one too. The glass bear might be Murano. Finally the Tiki piece would be gorgeous as a container for Pampas and succulent leaves ♥️

Yeah Karen love today's video. Happy Sunday. I am always excited for the videos. I will plan my next trip to PA. to go thrifting. My father passed away in Sept. and thrifting was his favorite hobby after he retired from the NYPD, I caught his bug!!!!lol Love to find gems at thrift stores for fun!

On the salmon candy dish, see if the bowl will screw off. I have had these ( not that color) and when the bowl is removed, the center is a candlestick.

Hi Karen. Lots and lots of these crystal/glass polar bears on Google Images. Most seem to come from Sweden. Great variety in prices depending on if they are signed. Loved the video. See you on Wednesday.

Hi Karen! Thanks for another great video!! I’d love to make a suggestion for hard to read stickers or signatures on hard goods -something that’s helped me many many times... If you’ll use your cell phone to snap a pic of anything you find hard to read. For example, the signature on the bottom of that gorgeous blue pottery in this video... Take a photo of it and you’ll be able to zoom in and out and toggle it around... and if it’s a matter of lighting or color, you can edit the photo on your phone to adjust to what you need. Works great with tiny stickers, logos, makers marks, signatures, etc. Works great for paintings & photography signatures too! Can’t guarantee this will always work but it’s an awesome tool to have, for sure. Thanks for sharing what you do... I love you and your fantastic videos so much! Take care sweet lady. xxo

@@lavenderclothesline maybe try adjusting the color, like sepia or turn it black and white so you can darken the lines of the words if that makes sense? Sometimes it helps

That tall glass with silver near the top is an old martini pitcher…. Very similar to my martini set which I got in the 1970’s

The polar bear may be an Alfredo Barbini Murano Art Glass Polar Bear, but the one I saw seemed to have some white inside the glass, but the pose is very similar. I also found Wedgwood glass ones that are similar. I think it may be a paperweight.

Hi Karen 99% sure the polar bear is Murano art glass. A lot of Murano is not marked.. The mixer looks like Dorthy Thorpe. Love your melon hats and beanies were made and sold to support children battling cancer.

Dorothy thorpe is a solid silver band not fade silver ... Crazy lamp just corrected herself recently and admitted that silver fading is not dorothy thrope

The Murano bear would most likely have some sort of coloring or "speckles" of metallics in it. Might not be Murano imo

Speaking of signatures, artists do themselves no favor with an unreadable signature or mark. My signature is sadly totally unreadable but I would make sure it would be printed or initialled somehow if I thought it had any value.

I noticed the ring that looked like a beautiful diamond, when she was putting the shell wind Chime back on the shelf! But, wearing a ring on the left hand ring finger doesn't mean it's an engagement ring. Plus, sometimes with phones the videos get reversed...that could have been her right hand.

Sorry, my mistake. She did have a ring on her ring finger at the thrift store. I guess I was looking at her hand during the haul.
