Why food delivery platforms has control over riders who has no bargaining power: 1. Many riders will just accept any low fare orders as there are more riders hungry for money. As long as there js a critical mass of willing takers the fares you get will be affected as there is compelling reason to up your fares despite rising coe, petrol , inflation, gst and all tariff hikes. 2. Food delivery riders have no Bargaining chip. 3. Many say Bo Bian as a default, unquestioned surrender to whatever policies. COE : Bo Bian 🏳 GST : Bo Bian 🏳 Electricity multiple hikes : Bo Bian 🏳 Water hike : Bo Bian 🏳 Bo Bian is not really Bo Bian or no solution as much as its these are nurtured to give up when it comes to policies.
