“I believe that God allows these certain tragedies to happen, in order to emphasize the man and his achievements.. and to inspire those who follow to have the strength and will to accomplish his unfulfilled dreams.”
eye roll*, as always this just brings to mind the question "Why would an all powerful loving god have any reason to have suffering in the world, when you consider he can do anything and therefore could make a world in which we had all the good things, including the good things you say arise from the existence of bad things?" To be clear, he could make you have that same "inspiration" and "will" without having to have experienced a horrible tragedy, and done the same for any and every bad thing that has happened to you and everyone else, for all time. Edit: sorry about the eye roll bit, but it is just so irksome to see people rationalize bad things as proof of god, when it directly implies his absence.
prw56 She's allowed to rationalize a tragedy anyway she wants, if that idea is comforting to her it's perfectly fine. You don't have to be r/Iamverysmart douchelord 24/7.
Try to empathize that she is incredibly comfortable during this free-domain; hopefully in the public-record interview that is in a Q&A fashion. Talking about the ideals of a man that loved his wife; but at the same time got as much snatch as one president could in his era. Who was sadly shot after a constant barrage of press coverage over his involvement with potentially dangerous groups . Documentation without constant pressure is a necessity for progress.
So funny, l was thinking about how Mike Pence calls his wife 'mother' this morning. Random thought whilst drinking coffee and l said to myself that it wasn't really wrong but it's just so extremely out of touch with the world today. It's a reflection of so many gvtments unfortunately. Except for the Finnish gvtment lol.
@@sharpaycutie2 It's not a guarantee of anything, that is true. But imagine if the US congress and senate had a median age that was 30 years lower.. You don't think it would have an impact on politics? It is true that many people get more conservative and set in their ways as they age - and that they often also lose touch with the younger generations.
This is so gorgeous. I love how you guys chose to use pink for the background. I felt extremely connected to Grace Kelly as she spoke. You are all extremely inspiring!
Calvin Pipher what? she wasn't a blue blood. her family only rose to fame through her father who was an olympic rowing champion, who married a model. but she was very beautiful and therefore popular in society anyway.
+jeaniebaby001 perhaps, yes But the Kelly's are to Philadelphia what the Kennedy's are to Boston Not born blue, but hard work and wonderful poise turned their blood blue
i seem to recollect from reading malakai mccourt's autobiography that when he used to run a pub in manhattan, grace was a regular customer and what people would refer to as a harlot in those days i believe...or maybe just an actress.
Terrific design and color choices on this animation. And Grace Kelly is so well-spoken. No wonder she fitted into that rarified world of powerful men in politics.
Another great interview. I'm going to have to go back and watch To Catch a Thief again now. I hope you all have some Cary Grant interviews stashed away too!
I give my infinite thanks to Blank on Blank for providing these interesting interviews, I will try to share as many as possible to help bring awareness to your channel.
It feels so odd seeing how everyone remembers jfk for fornication and getting his brains blown out, but he was a man of his age, a man of his generation and how so many people just remember that tragic event....I talked to my grandmother about it and she remembers
@@Jenna-in4br Bro JFK is known for being a womanizer and Grace Kelly also has a past of being with other men while she was married to the prince....based on that I would not be surprised at all if they banged it out.
So sad the way it all ended for him, and all because of some idiot with a gun. They had the best president in the world America, the eyes of the whole world were on them, there was magic in the air, optimism, and then it's all over, just like that. I don't know how the 60s didn't end right then and there, I suppose it just goes to show the real character of the Americans, they carry on, even when it looks like the end, they kept going and instead of the 60s being an awful time, they made it into one of the most memorable times in history. I suppose you can't stay upset forever.
While it is great to share the video as a friendly introduction...there are two issues not addressed ... 1) that is not Grace Kelly's true voice ... it sounds like the speed of the recording has been modified. 2) the real interview gives a much deeper perspective on the characters of both JFK and Grace Kelly ... you can see the comparison yourself here: www.beyondgracekelly.com/jfk-interview/
Since this was from 1965 why did the animation and photo at the end not reflect how she looked at the time of the interview? The picture of her with the unusual head covering was more accurate and not the 1950s image displayed
I'm sure she knew him back in the early 50s like she said. Around the same time she was having affairs with all those famous actors. Ray Milland, Gary Cooper, Bing Crosby etc.
What stuck out to me is how accurate she is when it comes to God. Somewhere false teachers spread predestination in Christianity. As if JFK was meant to be shot that way. Or it was meant for the school bus full of 1st graders to go off the cliff and die horribly...She said GOD is allowing things to take thier course, because after all, and only temporarily "the whole world is lying in power of the wicked one." 1john 5:19- God is allowing Satan to prove the universal question he posed in the garden, can man direct his own step? Can we determine between right and wrong on our own? Jeremiah 10:23 answers that question perfectly. JW.ORG
