I remember sitting in the back of a car, coming back from a club,in the nineties on E ,listening to this tune and feeling the emotions of a whole lifetime in one moment and looking into a friend's eyes knowing they were feeling the same thing ! Beautiful, heavenly days, reminiscing is almost painful, because it all meant so much.
Lovely jubbly Jase, my good man! I just turned 50 a month ago (on the same day that Brad Pitt turned 60 & Keith Richards turned 80 - talk about opposite, eh?!) & thus my younger days run a very similar path to what you listed! Cheers & best wishes from sunny 'Down Under', legend...hope that '24 has begun well for you thus far, bud...Matt.
I'm so unbelievably grateful that I was a teenager right through the 90's growing up with tunes like these. Got my first set of decks in 94. Best era for female led vocal dance tracks. This, Olive - you're not alone, Everything But The Girl- Missing, St Etienne- He's On The Phone, JX - There's Nothing I Won't Do just for starters....
Hey ya nice one!!! What about rui de silva???? In the morning is catchy class tune and bedrock!!! I'm a choice choo !!!! Just kidding I am a 50 year old man and I love 💘life and always be careful out there and understand nice people don't need to know anything about your life or friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me I just like to make people feel safe 😌🙏
@@HoChiMints2007 Hey. Yeah so as far as 90's tunes go there were a few great local bands here in Scotland. One called TTF with songs like Dreamscape 94, New Emotion and The Ultimate High and the second was N-Trance with Their song Set You Free! There's also classics like (Livin joy - dreamer) The late 90's early 00's brought Trance. Some of my favourite vocal trance would be (Tiesto - Walking On Clouds), (Rank 1 - Airwave/True Love Never Dies), (Paul Van Dyk - Found An Angel featuring Rachel McFarlane)....... Hope you enjoy some of these
@@johnrhodes3350 As good as it ever was. Just sat through most of my Renaissance cd’s and man I actually got a little emotional over a few tracks. The 90’s was simply special for lots of reasons.
Anyone that was a teenager in the 90's were lucky enough to witness the best decade of humanity.. How blessed we were to have lived through those beautiful times which are sadly long gone and now things are truly sh*t compared those times..
Man, I miss the 90's!!! I remember this came on at the end of the night at our school disco in late '93!! All of us were up dancing our asses off!! I was 17, what a decade to be young and crazy!! Give me a time machine back to the 90's, please!!!
Last night, being a Friday, "Club Classics" was on the P.A. system during the late shift where I work. Not Over Yet came on.....and for four minutes I stopped what I was doing, felt truly elated, found myself singing along to the song I could hear.....and for those four minutes I was a 20-something again. Not many songs can do that to me. This one did it with flying colours last night.
@@questioneverything8301 your quite right im 39. Hardly anything at all is worthwhile listning to after that time unless its from older bands well mainstream stuff. A few good musicians and what not on you tube that are new but are to good for there dumbed down mainstream narrative and wouldnt get air play..
Bought this single on the way back from Newquay in Torquay on this day 1995 (15/4). Clearly enjoyed booging to it down in Cornwall, the perfecto mix no doubt!
I feel absolutely blessed to have listened to this when it was released in the 90's. Imagine listening to a tune like this for the first time!!! The video is outstanding 😍
Driving back from a club in the 90s with this on full boom and still under the effects of Ecstasy, I miss those days 😢 absolutely brilliant times...52 now and it seems a distant memory..bit never forgotten 😊
Back when this song first came out, I was a full on metaller, which meant I pretty much hated everything that wasn't metal (like most metallers). However, I always had a soft spot for this song. Now, many years later and I'm no longer hung up on genres or trying to maintain a meaningless image, I can appreciate this fantastic tune for what it is. Viva la open mindedness.
That’s why it’s important to not make music your identity or any form of entertainment. That’s why fandom’s are stupid. You can enjoy things better especially when you keep an open mind are used to be a rock purist I never listen to anything that wasn’t rock because I thought it was stupid
I remember being at a CREAM night at the QUE club in Birmingham and Grace was doing a PA. She started to sing and the backing music failed. After several minutes and with no sight of the problem being fixed she just sang the whole song acapella. The place went wild and sung every word with her. Happy memories of a great performer and a great venue.
@@markrushton3362 Honestly mate, it was. There was all the frustration on stage and then she just said, f%@k it. She sung it beautifully and with the whole crowd joining in. To be honest, most of what happened in that time period is a haze but that is something I have always remembered clearly. Actually, probably best I can't remember the rest...😂
So glad I got to dj through the 90’s…..what a decade for dance music……I’m now 53 and still listen to these massive tracks ……problem with the kids of today is …….u will never truly understand how good it was back in the 90’s….had to be there to appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏🙏
you have to admit a lot of folk were stoned then, i just danced like mad and drank my booze! how i survived getting that drunk dunno! it was funnnnnnnnnnn
I remember when MTV played these dance music videos for a few hours every Friday and Saturday night - didn’t last long, maybe a year, but it was awesome!!!!!!!!!! Straight up old school dance music videos like this ❤❤❤
What a great track ..it's simplicity...is so good it's outstanding....one of the very best tracks I've ever heard ..dance ..mid 90s.....?? .. Melanie 34...🌈
I remember being in a club listening to this and watching people dancing having a great time with the light show going to the beat of the song and just thinking ‘Nice…’ 😊❤️
I remember being in the crumlin road jail in 1994 and this song came on and every guy ran into their cells and turned it up about 25 radios blasting it on a sat night 😎
Was that in west Belfast that nick or east?.. You must been with some of the last lot doing ye bird before it shut...me uncle mags was gonna finish his time in there when long Kesh shut, but his family kicked up a stink for obvious reasons, this was before even the Maze was built to house both...i was born a bred in England...
They say your mind has memories with flashbacks...this came on i soon went back to raving n doing E.s.my grandaughter looked puzzled and just went really😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just such a brilliant tune like most of the stuff that's gone by . Love the 80s best but some of the 90s stuff was just brilliant. If I had the cash I'd open up a club call it nostalgia and just play tracks from the 80s and 90s. I'm sure it would do well. The stuff out today is just shit, poor teens of today they got it bad.
A new gen being introduced to fantastic music by their parents is all it takes for fantastic music to stay alive. I don’t have kids, but if I did: their ears would be bleeding from the amount of music I’d be filling their heads with!
But they released a whole album, paul oakenfold tracks would feature some awesome and unexpected female singers like britanny murphy or azealia banks, in this case, the frontlady of "grace" (took me time to realize was not her nickname, instead is the name of the act) we see in this video perform the actual vocals, but all of the sudden, another woman took the vocals and image but never understood if the new lady was actually the singer or not 🤔 they released a track called " i wanna live" is on yt
Heavenly Song, made right 4 these Last Years , Before The End of the "world" in this decade, before the Second Arrival immediately after that . Pwy until than, 🙂
We will all meet again, in our youthful states - in that great rave in the sky. I'll be handing out chuddy and water like a Saint! I love you all, and always have and always will.
