This doll was absolutely worth the price, and absolutely worth the wait. I think it's going to be years before they ever do anything this intricate again.
This is why i will most likely never collect Integrity dolls. i don't think i would ever feel comfortable handling something so rich and delicate. And i KNOW that i would break or damage something all too easily. Beautiful doll though. Gorgeous dress! She gives me a "Grace Kelly at the Oscars" feel.
Hahaha, I have definitely broken and damaged them in the past, but I'm also clumsy AF. 😅 Once I get them on the shelf I almost never touch them because I'm so scared. Lol
She's absolutely stunning! I am so happy for you, that you were able to get her. Met Gala 2018 all the way. Your unboxings are really entertaining & helpful. Thank you.
She is so beautiful and worth it. The odd edition size is due to her being a made to order for club members. Normally the edition sizes are smaller. I debated on getting her at 1st and was so glad I got her. The pictures of her could not do this doll justice. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for reviewing her.
That makes sense! I got her as a wait list order, so I didn't know if she was a standard limited edition or a member exclusive. Thanks for clarifying. 😊
I joined The integrity W club for the first time last year and I'm obsessed their boy dolls. I only buy girl dolls if they look like pop singers or Hookers. I wish I had interest in the dolls with gowns but they don't go with my other dolls in my collection. Your doll is absolutely stunning, the crown in beautiful. I always thing every doll collector should own at least one doll from Integrity.
I absolutely LOVE this unboxing. Your energy was just so fun to watch, like, your excitement for this doll was so great to see. I haven't unboxed my 'Graceful Reign' Vanessa yet but I'm sure I'll have the same energy and reaction. Looking forward to seeing more Integrity doll videos from you again!
Thank you! I have a lot more planned. I just have to wait until they ship my pre-orders. 🤣 I think I'm still waiting on 3 dolls from last year. And I'm sure I'll continue to buy more this year as well. ❤️
@@dollthighs Pre-orders might take some time, for proper expectations -- like that 'Graceful Reign' Vanessa doll was introduced and made available to order in September of 2021 LOL but yeah I hope to see more videos from you and I already watched the new one you posted.
I have this doll too. She’s one of my favorites. I prefer the dolls with gowns with beading like Nu.Fantasy and decadent jewelry. I also prefer their Magia collaborations and Jason Wu gowns. Nice review!
Love the commentary, so glad I’m more a street wear person/Barbs. That girl is exquisite and expensive. I so know what you are saying about how the quality makes you feel clumsy, same here 😊
I love your presentation style. There are several doll vloggers on youTube, and I find your videos not only fun to watch and listen to, but they are full of actual thoughtful critiques and your honest feelings on the dolls. I look forward to watching your videos. On another note, I just picked up the Graceful Reign gown, cloak, and gloves w/ hands, which should be arriving in the mail today. I am not sure which of my IT gals will get the ensemble, yet, though.
My favorite from integrity is Smoke and Shadow Vanessa… I just love that doll. That’s why I thought I would also love this one and I just still can’t make up my mind about her.
Graceful Reign Vanessa needs a display shelf all for herself with that voluminous gown to show off. Personally I’m a little bored with blond hair on dolls so I wish they had give her a different hair colour but she is gorgeous 😍
I totally agree. I love blonde hair but I think she might have looked better with red hair. The blonde does go really nicely with the gold dress though.
As someone who has taken the plunge and bought BJDs…Integrity is typically “mid range” in cost for me, but as someone who once had a hard time affording a play line Barbie, I totally get that Integrity is out of range for a lot of collectors. Thank you for giving us a look.
Yeah…I envy those who have more than a couple BJDs. XD Still love Integrity though. One of my favourite details on my Trixie Mattel doll is that matching floral underwear.
A little late! But I just discovered this channel and I love your energy! I actually am the opposite of you in some ways. I love when dolls are presented in "realistic" normal yet fashionable clothing. So for me this particular Vanessa was not a favorite. However, I do agree that the quality they provided with her is immaculate. I've been an Integrity collector for a few years and if this is of any use for you I will give you a very brief description of their current lines: *FR*: This is or was the main Integrity line. The general gist of this line is that it features women between 25-40 year old as characters, usually their designs are more sophisticated and elegant and of course mature. Vanessa here is a character from that line. *Nu.Face*: This line is set in the same universe as the FR characters. But the dolls are meant to represent younger people, between 18-25 year old models and their style is usually more daring, revealing and runway like, although they sometimes venture to more casual styling, they have almost the same body as the FR dolls, but they have a smaller breast presumably because they are meant to represent younger women. They can wear the same shoes, pants, skirts and usually tops, unless they are very tight. *Monarchs*: Even tough every line has male characters, like Lukas and Tiago, who belong to Nu.Face, this line is dedicated to male fashion and the main characters are all guy dolls. *Poppy Parker*: This line depicts characters from the 60's so almost all of their fashions represent trends from that era, Poppy, the main character has arguably become Integrity Toys's best seller and she is a prominent release every year, since Poppy is meant to be a teenager, her body proportions are smaller than those of FR and Nu.Face. *Meteor*: This line is focused on a stroyline of women of color. The body is bigger, with more curves and the styling is often more urban" and experimental. They can share shoes with FR and NF. *True*: This is a mixed line. The female body is the most petite in IT. They have a smaller chest, feet and waist than the others and they are usually very on trend with fashions, they are colorful, daring and almost costume-y. The most recent collection was inspired by the 70's. *East 59*: These dolls are all about vintage styling inspired by the 50's and the 40's. The dolls have a very hourglass body, and they can share clothes and shoes with vintage Barbie, the ones with a "Twist and Turn" waist. They are elegant, classic and vintage. *Misaki*: This last line is usually exclusive to the Japanese market for IT, the dolls have a similar body to Poppy Parker but they have cartoonish faces, and cutesy, harajuku styled fashions. Hope that helps!
Excellent review! Very detailed and thorough! I have a tip for those tiny shoe and jewelry closures: tweezers, sometimes I use 2 sets - one for each side of the closure.
I started collecting barbie playline dolls. Suresh's youtube videos inspired me to collect model muse, silkstones and then Integrity toys . since barbie's quality has dropped. I stopped buying high end barbies and focusee on IT.. the experience is great. Feels like opening a miniaturized fashion
The way she has fingernails like that is so amazing. Moulding tiny details like that is not easy cause of overhang, makes them prone to failure when being pulled. You can see the care is so real just by that for me.
Love your videos!!! I have her and I am definitely glad I got her....I hate when I miss out on the WClub price because I'm undecided and get stuck with Ebay!!! I just wanted to give you a pro tip on the doll earrings- Use a needle or small safety pin to open the ear hole a little before putting in the earrings.
Thank you! And thanks for the tip. This one wasn't too bad but in the past some of them have barely had earring holes. lol I'm always afraid I'm going to break the earring.
Wow, she is luxurious ! I feel like the gloves amp up her regality and make her outfit more Elizabethan. Unfortunately I do not own any Integrity Toy dolls- yet. But I very much want a Trixie Mattel doll. Happy I found your channel ! =)
Integrity toys dolls are so gorgeous. I'm going to release a video this week about my experience in 2022 as a first-time wclub member and all the dolls I bought from them last year. I'll talk about the trixie doll a little in that video. She's really beautiful ,though. I'm happy I grabbed her. I'm a huge Trixie Mattel fan. 😁
I think its so great that we all like different type of dolls. Im into Integrity dolls too. However, I much prefer very tailored fashions, close fitting suits, dresses and evening gowns.
I also thought having one doll from Integrity is enough... It's like a rash that I can't easily get rid of. LOL, waiting for my Graceful Reign Vanessa and this vid is making me more excited
I might re dress her Grace Kelly style eventually. Pop on a custom wig instead of boil washing her hair might be helpful to change looks. I spend more for my Integrity and JHD dolls clothes than my own LOL. Have you tried Adonis dolls? They can also be sooo gorgeous
I know, I can't stop buying them. Lol Also, I have no Adonis dolls those are made by JHD, right? I'm so afraid to get into more high-end fashion doll companies. 😆 my doll budget is already stretched thin between my current collections. I have almost bought them in the past, though. Maybe I'll skip a disney designer release and grab one of those instead. 🤔
@@dollthighs New release Adonis's are not that amazing as they used to but just keep an open mind. They are from JHD. Their Pride by the Beach release are hot. You have an amazing collection and watching your vids are such joy.
Honestly they are probably one of the best dolls around…I think I e seen this level of details also in Tonner dolls but apparently they are not produced any longer 😒 which is a shame since they had these kind of details too
I have her too and honestly I though I would love her more. I like her in peoples videos better then in person. I haven’t unboxed her yet though. I am going back and forth if I should unbox and keep her or just let her go…
I completely understand. I had 2 dolls last year from them that I didn't love in person, so I just resold them instead of unboxing. Sometimes, it's better to just have the cash and buy yourself a different doll if you don't love, in my opinion.
@@dollthighs I agree completely :) I have a few dolls that I am trying to decide if I like them enough to keep and unbox :) I am really trying hard to stick to my themes and not buy stuff that is outside that (vintage, fantasy, sci-fi, travel, etc.) but then I see a new shiny thing and into the cart it goes... hahaha...
She's very beautiful on her own but unfortunately I'm not into middle part hairstyles. I don't see versatility in it like if I want to redo her into old Hollywood glamour but it's very trendy right now so oh well. I just love the elegance of side parts. I hope they can also pull off sleeved gowns one day. Maybe do Cersei Lannister's coronation gown next lol. The gowns are almost always sleeveless these days, I mean I still like them and I have many for my dolls that it now feels like I've seen it before.
I actually love the way they do gloves now because not until 2018 all the gloves they used to make were mittens. Not only I disliked the look of them but they’re also hard to put on. They still do mitten gloves especially if they’re made of sheer material but they’re usually not my favorite accessory.
Hi there I'm behind with your video's I mus say this is indeed a Royal doll she stunning I all so understand how you feel about getting a doll that you never thought you would as I've just got a Gayle sindy doll happy days ❤️
I didn't No that thay are so hard to find in US I got mine from eBay UK seller Gayle sindy was made by Marx toys in 1978 but only sold in the US she is very sort after in the UK sindy by collectors.
I don't usually collect dolls like that. I'm fascinated with the artistry that goes into making bisque dolls, but I'm afraid if I ever got into them, I would break them all the time. 🤣 I'll leave those to people who are less clumsy than I am.
That's gorgeous, I'm also low-key been following the creator of DEMUSE DOLLS their recent release was so gorgeous but aside from the creators channel im not seeing others reviewing the dolls, it's always sold out on their site so I don't know maybe it's lower in quantity..
I'm not familiar with them, but based on their website, it looks like they make high-end BJD artist dolls. They could honestly be one of a kind. You might have to contact them directly through their website for info on how to buy them.
She's an amazing doll, though I couldn't see myself picking her up. I see why she cost such a high price, she is is beautiful, just not what I'd personally add to my collection. I would have loved to see a little more contrast in color to her clothes. Her face is just plain gorgeous. I wouldn't change anything about her face, the details to her face are perfect. All around she is a stunning doll, the only reason I wouldn't add her to my collection is I'm a picky bench when it comes to clothing color especially for such a high price point. I don't usually feel drawn to creams, gold and yellows. (excluding a few special cases) Either way she is going to be a stunning doll to add to your collection and I really enjoyed your video as always.
That's totally understandable. Colors have different emotional responses for everyone, and her color pallet is pretty subtle, so some people might find it boring. I personally love the gold embroidery and the drama of the silhouette. But I completely get it because I buy every pink doll I see just because I love pink. 😆
@@dollthighs Totally get it, her silhouette is what makes her so pretty. I don't think I could call her boring, that would be a bit to harsh. Maybe just not what I'd be looking for in a doll color wise. I hope to see more dolls with dramatic styles.
I would like to find a video with Barbie and integrity doll comparations, talking about size, hair quality, make-up, etc. Just to have an idea about differences between them.
The gowns are great. I would like barbie to sell them separately occasionally so that they are not just the holiday or birthday barbie doll dresses. To be young and able to play with them would be impressive for a child.. Princess Ball gowns maybe..matching hats , etc..
The gloves. .. i can appreciate the gloves, buy i kind of wish that the hands were also covered in fabric. Not like mittens though. Like, maybe the fabric that covers the arms could have been meticulously glued or somehow fused to her hands so that the hands match the arms? Maybe it's the color of the gloves that is throwing me. Because i have seen Integrity Toy dolls with full-length gloves and painted hands that look immaculate. Case in point: "Poppy Parker Goes On A Mystery Date". i kinda feel like i shouldn't have an opinion on Integrity dolls because i have never owned one before. i own ONE Integrity body that i once used for my 1979 Black Barbie (it was a fun experiment).
I completely agree. I wish the hands had fabric on them. I think it's possible, but maybe it's just too expensive to mass produce? Idk anything about doll production. 😂
