I have never been, but what an amazing place to visit!! This is so cool. I like how you described it as an honor and a privilege because that's how I would feel. I did not know he was naturally a blonde. Sean's childhood home had those same mirrors too. That place had to be so hard to keep dusted with all that fabric, wood, white, just all of it. They let you wander around on your own? Very sad to see the graves. It was an awesome tour, like 97, thanks for sharing!

We have always wanted to visit Graceland! Elvis was such a talented and charismatic performer. I imagine it was a really moving experience to be walking around where he lived and see so many artifacts of his life in person. Thanks for sharing it with us. This was a great tour video, I am a child of the 50's saw Elvis on Sullivan in 1956, I was 12, and loved him ever since. I have been too Graceland twice, but that was early on before all the new stuff and the plane was added. I Enjoyed your narrating and special info. i am now 80 and probably won't ever go again. Elvis's bodyguard Dave Healer tore the fabric in the pool table doing a trick shot...He was so scared that Elvis would fire him that he begged Elvis's cousin Billy Smith to take the blame because he said Elvis wouldn't get mad at Billy...After a few minutes of begging Billy finally gave in and said he'd tell Elvis that he did it...When Billy told Elvis that he tore his pool table Elvis didn't think it was a big deal and said he'd have it repaired but he never did, and Elvis never knew that Dave was the one that tore the table...

Yes, he was a natural blonde. At the beginning of the tour, they told us "not to touch the horses, they bite, lol. My mom kept repeating it so her grandson wouldn't go near them, 😂😅😂.
I love the Peacock stained glass. I understand reproductions are sold in different sizes, I’m going to look into. My wife promised that this will be the year we can go to tour Graceland as I’m the huge Elvis fan. I once stayed very near about 18 years ago in a motel with the guitar shaped pool and walked to where you board the busses that take you across the highway and was told that the last tour of the day had been over there for 20 minutes and they would be happy to run me over to join them. I’ve always regretted that I declined. However a did take a taxi to Beal Street for a much too late night out typically not done on a biz trip. But it was a blast.

This is super cool. The home always looked like a Mansion when I was a kid but surprisingly it's not as big as I would have expected since he was so rich. I love seeing all of the retro decor and even the stroller was adorable. The horse area is stunning. Is the decking around the pool age appropriate?. It's beautiful but looks like a designof recent years. Great job Jess. My guess the other day definitely wasn't Graceland. Very fun video. 😊
Hey friend, yes, it's much smaller than you'd imagine, I just love seeing the Retro kitchen and Tvs, etc. Nobody guessed it, but it was fun seeing everyone's guesses, haha.
