this song is so unbelievably good on a sonic level like the melody is so catchy and ear pleasing and works in tandem with the lyrics and emotional tone of the song and her vocals are so crisp and full of emotion. that muted guitar strumming pattern in the verses is amazing, and in the chorus, the way a single note is played repeatedly at an even pace makes it feel like the song is in slow motion. it’s absolutely in my top 5 favorite songs purely based on how it sounds
