It's worth paying the extra cash for the 19. Able to paint a whole house in one day without issues. As long as the paint is screened well.

Cool video & Awesome little unit. This was my first spray machine💯 I purchased second hand because that was all we could afford at the time. I used on every job for a year. The machine earned us enough money to purchase our second machine. Five years on & 10 machines later it still running. LOVE IT ❤

@@GOIndustrial just bought the X19 today based on your video. I've seen at least a dozen videos and done research but this video was so compelling and thorough it filled all the blanks. The only one that describe the pullout pump and swivel handle and how neccessary they are.

I bought the Magnum X7. I have to paint the other half (interior) of my house. Four closets, bedroom, kitchen (and cabinets), pantry, and ceilings. Might paint my shed, too. Might take it out and try and make a little money with it. Thinking back, I should've bought the next step up. Hoping I can get some work to pay for X17. I take very good care of my tools, so maybe it will last longer than expected.

Id like to use this unit to spray en entire two story building, it's an industrial building in fact I will be needing a scissor lift to reach the top of the building. ..My question is will I need to allow this unit to rest every two or three hours, or will this unit be able to handle spraying for long periods of time

What do you mean by liters a day? Because couple of day ago we used x7 and we sprayed 25 gallons of paint in 3 hours and there was no issue with it running and it's still going strong

Hello Anthony and thank you so much for your detailed explanation. Im planning to paint a 3 story exterior apartment building with the X19 pro sprayer. Its aprox 5600 sq feet. My first coat will take roughly 50 liters and 24 hrs dry period. Its 10 liters more than the 40 liters per day that you nentioned in your video. Would the X19 pro handle 50 liters in a day, to cover the first coat?

Hey William! I would definitely recommend our Graco 190PC express or 390PC for this application, that's moreso pushing into our smaller-end of professional airless sprayers. The Endurance Pump is a tad more durable, and ideal for this exact application. I hope this helps - Anthony :)

All depends on if you're priorising production speed, or overall quality. HVLP will always have a better spray finish than airless due to the way the paint atomises - given it will be a fair bit slower! If speed or time spent painting isn't an issue, purely for cabinetry I'd consider the FinishPro 9.5 ProContractor or any HVLP in the Graco range. Otherwise, if you're on a budget and have greater use for painting walls/ceilings etc, the ProX19 can do both really well!

Any comments or experience testemonials regarding adapting the X19 by adding a solvent based laquer kit to it and shooting solvent based laquers or urethanes through the unit?

Hey Richard, unfortunately solvent-based materials aren't suitable through the Magnum ProX19 range. This is due to the brushed electric motor and the risks of vapour and sparking. We recommend our Ultra Max handheld, or FinishPro HVLP range to apply lacquers/urethanes as there's no risk of sparking. I hope that makes sense!

Appreciate the video. I do handyman work and looking to buy a capable sprayer to comfortably do up to 4bd room homes (int and ext) and fence painting. I am looking at the pro x19 and the gx21 as they both in same price range at the time of me writing this. I have a 4br home job coming up and want to focus more on this work. What do you guys think is better choice? Cheers in advance

You're welcome! The ProX19 is neck on neck with the GX21. Marginal difference between both units in performance. We have a super special on the ProX19 that comes standard with additional fine finish tips, Pump Armour and a 40cm extension, so the value is definitely in the ProX19 versus the GX21. It's mainly cart mount versus stand mount, and whicever is more convenient for you. Hope that helps!

Hey Sam, thanks for the feedback and great question! There is no pump replacement for the X5 unit, however, there are some basic troubleshooting and parts you can repair. I’m a professional painter and I own one of these , I used it every day for 3 years until it finally gave out . During that time I replaced the pump about 3 times but now it doesn’t build enough pressure

Hey José - not bad use out of the ProX19! However given you're a professional painter, I would definitely recommend the 190PC or 390PC if you're looking at replacing the unit. The Endurance Pump is a tad more durable over the ProXChange pump on the Magnum series. You'll get a lot more longevity out of the small professional electric airless units versus the Magnum range. Hope this helps!

@@danielmontez5770 I don’t know how big the building is but I’m sure it can handle it . I do mostly residential painting and I painted several homes during the time that I had it . If in case the pump goes out on you , you can get a new replacement online fairly cheap for about $100 dollars or so

I bought a Graco Pro X19 and I want to go over my roof with a thin coat of silicone paint(Black Jack 1000 Elasto-cool). I am going to thin the silicone using virgin mineral spirits so I figure the thinning will allow the Graco to atomize it fairly well and make the job do-able without any issues. What are your thoughts?

Hey Donald! Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, the silicon is mineral-spirits based, we definitely don't recommend spraying this with the ProX19. I've referred to the technical data for the Black Jack 1000 Elasto-cool product, which recommends a professional airless unit. I imagine this is due to the viscosity of the silicone. I would look at a brushless-motor model such as the Ultra Max II 595PC, or larger, to spray this material. I hope that helps!

You 100% can use the FFLP tips. The correct pressure depends on the paint and size of tip you use. You just need to look for the even spray fan when you do your test patch!

Hey, great question! You can typically tell when your machine stops holding or building pressure or if you machine wont prime anymore and you tried basic troubleshooting. Depending on how much you use the unit and how well you clean it will determine when you need to replace the pump. For a DIYer, this could be years. Hope this helps!

It is a solid sprayer to start a painting business, however I'd recommend the 190PC or 390PC as a better starting sprayer. The Endurance Piston Pump is a tad more durable than the ProXChange pump included with the ProX19, and overall will handle spraying a wider range of water-based and oil-based paints.

Hmmmm 🤔 I wonder 💭 if they could invent a custom made paint sprayer that You could carry around with a back container 🫙 of say 8 or a 10L that is mobile/portable?? Instead of the conventional standard paint sprayers which are also reasonably good! Just a thought 💭 😕🥺😰🤦🏻‍♂️
